I actually teared up when they had their mind meld! And it just made me realize all over again how absent these moments have been all season. This could be the last Caskett mind meld of the entire series.
I thoroughly enjoyed this scene and this episode. Literally from beginning to end. Despite everything that's happened, I'm going to enjoy these last few episodes because they may or may not be the last ones that I watch. Or I may watch this show to its very end. I don't know. I'm going to be appreciative of what they've given us so far. So with that said, Happy Birthday Stana!
All series that have gone onto live for in syndication often for decades have one thing in common, they didn't do anything as truly stupid as this. We like to think of Perry Mason is somewhere defending the innocent, Desi always loving Lucy, and Gilligan is somehow goofing up another rescue. Why Castle has to crash like a derailed train in hopes of a 9th season will earn its place in the WTF Hall of Fame for the Class of 2016.
