Sometimes i think stana just not interested investing in this show. i think stana and nathan did fell in love while working together in this show, for some reason didn't work out well for them.may be nathan was not the long term committed type of person. so they broke up. they continued to have other relationships but both can't let go their love for each other. that's why in season 7 when nathan fell for krista, stana went forward to marry kris as a revenge. nathan started to being nasty towards her. that made her cry. this is their epic love story. directors and producers tried their best to keep them together but as you can see season 8 there are no more romance in their eyes, intimate scenes were less not like season 6,early season 7. i think season 5, 6 stana was getting closer to nathan but all stopped when nathan ran after ktista. after that she got married. she just didn't want to do romantic scenes with nathan anymore. morever, nathan simply despice her coz her actions of marriage hurts him. i think its better one of them let go and abc decided to let stana go for good after seeing there is no future in investing in this show. both of them are great actors but their ego let to the downfall of a great show ever on tv network. season 9 will start with a new storyline without beckett and fans will miss the presence of beckett. as a human being still having feelings for stana despite of acting like he hates her, nathan will feel her lost coz he is just a human with feelings. they might bring in an actress who hv great quality like stana may have inmate,romantic scenes with nathan but still is not stana as she is one of akind of girl. i sincerely hope this two actors keep aside their ego and admit to their feelings. they are not young. no use holding on to gruges of their past. may they join together oneday im still there to here this great news.
