Zac and Vanessa even though separately, they did revisit the set recently. The memories of filming together is just too nostalgic, im sure even though they dont talk, they will still remember.
@@lychan1529 They dated shortly after being on high school musical, the memories are definitely always going to be there, it depends on the person and how they feel about it at present and how much too. I am sure going back to it stoke some memories and feelings that they have put aside and having moved on and they are all in new chapters of their lives now. Maybe it's a little awkward for the both of them when they see each other again and touch on a topic that they shared certain intimate memories with and so either or both would rather avoid it. However from what I know, in this reunion special, Zac Efron has another film he's doing at the moment and so it conflicts with this and therefore could not attend. Its not like he doesn't want to or maybe he doesn't but not that much. He's busy. And when this reunion came out just a few years back, people gave him so much flak for it, saying this guy now acts so cool like he's a big star with big projects and can't be bothered with Disney or stuff like he used to so before high school musical shot him to fame and he could now star alongside Hollywood big shots like Dwayne Johnson or something and is embarrassed of high school musical, so doesn't want to be associated with his former co starts from there on. Lol. Come on people... even if he's avoiding something, it's not up you(I am not saying it's you, but the people pointing fingers and be judging) to judge...
Edit. Personally I could relate because I have not moved on(and I thought I have) from some points of my life, like my ex girlfriend and also late fiancée, our mutual friends and the great times we have had in high school before we moved on to college and working life. One after another. Even though I messed up alot along the way... yeah, and now am trying to rebuild my life up again sort of. Sorry, I just felt a little emotional and bummed from all the stuff I have been up to and watching this and this comment thread too, stoked some memories of my own. Oh well. And i can't help but speak up a little for Zac.

That is a very stupid and childish thing to say. The reunion clashed with other films he was working on, he couldn't be in two places at once, and their breakup is close to 7 years now, they would still be good friends, they probably just don't talk often.

I'm 19 and I called this movie now as "My Stress Free" movie. Everytime i watched this movie i could suddenly feel de ja vu from my childhood days. Monique was right. This movie was the reason why I love to dance and sing together. I miss this so much.

I’m watching this in 2019 and I think that the cast would be extremely proud that almost 13 years later these movies are still popular today and they’re still inspirational to the younger generation that has grown up with these movies!! I was 6-7 when the first movie came out and I’m about to turn 20 this year and I still love these movies like I did when they first came out. So good on them for kind of acknowledging how well these movies have done and how it’s changed their careers but also showing how it’s affected everybody that’s watched it!
I remember i still have the cds of the 3 movies and I repeat all of them like 10 to 20 times I never get bored
this movie was the beggining of my passion for music. I used to watch that movie almost everyday, I knew all the dance moves, all the lyrics, everything. Thank you so much hsm, for an amazing childhood

10 years ago i was that little girl watching the HSM all over again. After 10 years im still this girl watching HSM over and over again.
Watching this made me sad just looking back and seeing them reflecting on wut the movie did and wut it was. Also seeing Vanessa and Monique at 0:19 dancing to “ We’re All in This Together” made me soo happy and I’m hoping there will be an HSM4 coming out with the original cast!

It gave me goosebumps when they said “people in their 20’s who are showing to their kids”. Like dam, are we really getting this old?😭🤣 honestly though, this movie was and still is my favourite.

It was also really them and the movies and how they brought these characters to life. These movies are amazing and people still see it to this day. I don’t think I have ever seen such a big popular movie that still lives in 2020. It’s been so long.
