Thank you for posting side-by-side pictures of the large date and small date 1982 pennies. There are so many on eBay or online even companies that list is small but when you enlarge them they are large date numbers.

I believe I have a 1982-D small date, 3.1g penny. It has errors from the mint that look like wide track gauges on the obverse side. The reason why I say they are errors from the mint is that they have either copper blobs or wires that are clearly on top of the errors. Because of the errors should I still send it out to be graded some people say the errors may make it more desirable than most some say not. Thank you for your help

The coins ain't beat up. Look on the boarder and if you see the same letter or number skipping across the coin, it's done from mint. Random very small letter and numbers come from their machines. I have so many and can't wait to sell my lot

Being offered is a large lot of 50 ( fifty) 1982 pennies found in pocket change.
Almost all I would grade fine/extra fine and 3 retained some gloss and I would grade AU 57-59.

Should weigh from 3.0 to 3.1 grams and up. Yes you should get it graded, I’d go through pcgs
