- This one is ACTUALLY YASSEN CENTRIC. Yay! There's sort of a vague plot - the moment when he shoots (at) Julius to the moment he doesn't shoot Alex. It's supposed to be a snapshot of that moment, hopefully it makes sense.
I tried out a couple stylistic ideas I've seen in a lot of other videos, with the car in the garage and with Ian and Yassen's scene. They're rough, at least in my own judgment, but I wanted to try them out at least cause y'know, you can't get good at them without practice.
I also finally read Russian Roulette and my heart. I cried. I love One Yassen Gregorovich so much. Reading the books and seeing some of the scenes from his perspective - my heart. I just can't.
Anyways, as per usual I don't own Alex Rider, the song, or any of the stuff in this, and I'm making no money off of it.

Something I’m like 90% sure is a deliberate change in the adaptation to make things more clear later on; Yassen had no professional reason to kill Clone!Alex. He did it as the one intentionally protective thing he could do for John Rider’s son; he can’t do more than just leave Alex at the mercy of less capable killers than himself most of the time, but here, he could deliberately act.
See, here's the thing - I'm not entirely convinced he's dead! There's a few things - no close up of the body, they never exactly lower their weapons, and it's never quite confirmed he's dead, to me. There's also the book plot with Clone!Alex, so I'm thinking we might see him again!
I do really love your reasoning here though, and it is a really good point!!
I wish there was more yassen moments in the series
@Jack Adams yes I did i really wanted to see more of him in the tv series and know about his friendship with john I hope in the season 2 we see more of him

he was in like . . . on chapter of a book, instanty my favorit for one of the estimated 3 lines he spoke, then returned a few books later and was in like 2 chapters . . . but easely stayed my favorit character by far.

I mean, it’s so simplistic yet purposeful and thought out. You really do tell a story here -Yassen’s story. I’m SO glad that we got to see more of him in S2 and that they didn’t give him the same ending as the book. I’m looking forward to hopefully seeing him again S3 😏
Also, I agree with everything you said in your DB 💔 I just read Russian roulette last week and I’m DEF not over it 🥺🥺 I never rly thought I’d have these feels for an assassin lol. I’m RLY hoping we get some flashbacks of his time with John Rider!

Does anyone know if the scar in Yassens face's the one he's got while on mission with John Rider or an indication to the hit he'd got from Sharkovsky
According to the books, he got it on mission with john rider, that saved his life.
I believe so. In the books, the scar is on his neck, while in the show, it’s on his face.
