Ain't no way we got the overarching storyline
bro is NOT feelin the drank 🔥🔥
I hope the death threat finds its way to court for the next video lmao
@@LemurG shush
Nah ngl that was crazy😂😭 ima ray for bro court aint cool.

Harmonies are really easy to make, just find the correct harmony out of the harmony choices and put that harmony next to the melody as your chosen harmony.
hi myeaux! didn’t expect to see your comment on some random video that appeared in my recommended lol
😭
what's a harmony mommy?
Literally
Hi myeaux
I love it when closet releases his new videos! I wish he would release more instead of kidnapping my distant relatives!
💀
At least they’re *distant* relatives! But he’s always getting closer…
every time i hear a ringtone in a closet video i know im about to hear some crazy shit
for anyone struggling to make their own harmonies who wants to, making chords with your vocals is a great way to add a little bit of juice
@@Abakato type shiiiii
The phone calls from your friends are my favorite thing in this whole entire universe
unfortunately i’d have to guess they are not friends anymore
Gunnr doesn’t ever actually show you how to do anything, he just shows you how to put his already made preset in the mixer 😭
Real 😂😂😂😂
and all his presets r just a copy of his jace preset 😂
THATS WHAT IM THINKING LIKE UR NOT HELPING
and his presets are overcompressed trash
Gunnr is dogshit
It took this schizo 11 minutes to tell us to use Stereo Enhancer. Subbed.
he'll probably get over it
i only watch these for the lore
thank you closet. with your course i went multi platinum on my hit song!!!!!!!
Music theory isn't actually so hard to learn if you just commit to it. I learned within a year very much stuff that had come so usefull when making music. In my opinion best producers have naturally a good sense of melody, music, and can determine what sounds good and what doesn't at some extent. BUT when you combine that with music theory i'm telling you your life will become so much easier... I KNOW it takes time but when you realize you're stuck very often of not knowing what fits with what you just need to learn... Not hard, just takes patience and motivation. Start with basics and don't assume you know stuff you actually don't. This is my advice.🌌
what topics did you learn or you'd reccomend to learn? i know some basic music theory but i want to know how to make interesting harmonies like real musicians do.
Also recommend learning music theory even if you don’t go deep into it. Just the basics will help sooo much.
@@wenceslas8355I watch alot of Ariana grande in the studio because she can harmonize with herself on the spot and it’s super helpful and interesting to watch.
@@lizzylouisewoo okay thanks ill try it out
I love that you make the tutorials funny I think I could watch you bully other creators all day💀
your channel appeared on my recommendations and DAMN i'm addicted to watching your videos bro!!!
you're really charismatic and your production value is SO high, it keeps me engaged in the video until the end
keep up with that! you will go veeeery far!!
the lore is crazy
Your tutorials are not only good but they are not boring af I’m definitely gonna save your content to look back
Honestly, for your main melody you'd want at least 3 clips of that , 3 clips of your harmony and 3 clips of your suporting note. Pan one to each side and keep one center. That creates a wall of sound that has room in the middle to keep frequencies from clashing. This is how t pain Ariana Grande and many other artists record vocals
Can u show me bro
I think it depends on the song whether this is entirely necessary. I could imagine cases of having that many vocal tracks making the mix an overcrowded mess, unless you're going for a very specific sound.
Then again, I can't stand a lot of poppy hip-hop, so that could be on me.
U don’t need all that if ur flowing
@@AROAH doesn’t have to be like what you think there. Watch disclosures video for the breakdown of Latch ft. Sam Smith. There’s gotta be like 15 vocal tracks at one point but you barely actually notice the harmonies because of the mix
Babe wake up new closet vid dropped
To get better at naturally harmonizing. Sing along with your favorite song and try to sing it at different notes
Dude I swear I was gonna comment about a tutorial for harmonies AND THEN I SAW THIS VIDEO 😂 seriously, TYSM for your tutorials. They're the ONLY TUTS that works for me 😭💜 I love your videos. Thank you lots. I think I can now work on some covers that I wanna make 🙏 you're a life savior
The best way to learn harmonies... Sing along to your favourite songs and try to learn the existing harmonies on them. Eventually you'll be good enough to make up your own harmonies on songs that only have one vocal
I don't even take the time to learn or watch this guy's videos (of course I'll probably use it one day) but I alr know ur editing and level of entertainment is madly underrated
i love this video. i didn't know what to expect when watching it and i got a lot of enjoyment out of it!
I love your energy omg
I love closet and how quick he gets into the tutorial 🥰🥰
i would never beat around the bush
Can’t wait till we get “how to make a shitty closet type beat” hyped for that one
I don't even use FLStudio but your tutorials are fire. It's not a simple "Step 1, do A. Step 2, do B." format, you actually explain little bits and details about the software and how a harmony should work. Unlike that other guy who says" I just move the notes until they sound good" or whatever.
I love it when closet uploads!!!!
bro this dude is finna pop off soon enough, deserves more than 19k, comedy and being useful at the same time is amazing, thank you
Just 6 hours ago I was looking on your channel for this video and now here it is.
Thanks
4:30 Yo, all I can add to that is to say that 7 semitones are called a perfect fifth. Usually on guitar they're called power chords, like the root note and the fifth (7 half steps up from the root).
That interval is going to sound fire most of the time, however on specific melodies it doesn't work as well because sometimes the fifth of a note in a melody isn't included in that scale.
I learned this every now and then by just playing guitar but I'm not that deep into that, I could try to explain further but then I would probably just share some messy uneducated knowledge haha
When you look for a perfect fifth on google and click on the wikipedia page, there's a sound example. That powerchords are like normal chords just without a gender (major or minor) and basically just fill out the sound of the root note to, well, sound more powerful
The last paragraph of your comment really helped me understand some shiz so thank you
I found this tutorial funny, enjoyable & insightful. Thank you, closet.
ty for givin us ur special sauce mr.closet 🙏🤰😩
Closet's videos are like pure juice of chaos
lmao bro I always learn something new watching your videos
This video resonates so clearly with my struggles with FL Studio tutorials
Also if you are having difficulty finding harmony you can use a plugin called pitchproof to make like a guide track and sing on top of it I used to do this.
THANK YOU OMG I'VE BEEN LOOKING FOR SOMETHING LIKE THIS
@@kody5183 Make sure that your main vocal is tuned properly or else you will get weird results
This is the funniest shit thank you for making good content this what youtube has always been about
The best n realest fl studio teacher u can find on yt fr
Sick video bro, it's funny, informational and mad helpful
So basically, a scale has seven notes and then it starts over. All of the notes in the scale sound kinda good with eachother and different scales give different vibes. If you want something happy, you go for the major scale, if you want sad, you use the minor scale. Most common harmonies I've seen are the first and third note of the scale, the first and fifth note of the scale and the first and eight note a.k.a the octave. The first, third and fifth note of a scale are called a triad and usually make up a chord. You can use any note in the scale to harmonise but they all sound different and you have to watch out and make sure the notes aren't too close to eachother like the first and the second because you might lose some of the impact.
bro explained better then 99% of fl studio tutorials 💀
This guy just BREAK THROUGH IT tysm for being fkin real
man you is actually mad funny, keep it going
Honestly I watch these videos for the production value bc damn
love when a closet vid drops
this is a harmony of all time
This has to be the funniest music production tutorial I've ever seen !
I understood so much and solittle at the same time, thank you closet
A harmony can stretch multiple octaves. As everything in music is all about context (and your vocal abilities unless you digitally manipulate them)
the most honest fl studio tutorial i have ever seen
closet always comin in clutch
damn u like famous
Bro I’m not gonna lie you funny asf 😅

The final Result 😂🤣🤣🤣 with Patrick in background dancing 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 OMG!!🔥🔥🔥
Whenever the video cuts to the phone calls it's like I completely forget what the original video was about and I get mental whiplash cutting back to the music theory
finnaly a good fl studio video
loved this so fucking much 😭
I personally take a fair amount of lows out my harmonies and put some reverb on them with a vet suttle delay and sound separate them but have the main vocal on maybe 5-10% merged (I always make sends for reverb and delay so I can take the lows out of the reverb and delay to avoid clashing)
ive been starting to use busses for reverb and delay its way way better
@@ownerscloset yeh 100% would you mind if I play around with on of your songs see what I can do with it? If you don’t mind sending me the stems
U got my brother with your intro. The sideeye was maddd😂
The intro got me with my headphones good one 😂
ur voice is so fucking soothing omfg......
Bro the M&M could totally be some funky brain thing, I’m diagnosed with severe OCD and eating stuff like that I struggled with for nearly 2 decades
my mom has ocd it doesn’t bother me that much tho tbh i dont think its worth a diagnosis
jus finished binge watching all ur vids 🤷🏾♂
I feel you with the m&ms dude
this vid is so relatable
I’m one of the ppl that harmonies come to easily and I think of it as multiple Melodies in the same key layered on top of each other. Use your layers like instruments rather than just “extra layers”
This made me laugh more than a tad bit
quite literally the only actually helpful tutorials I've come across thank you we should get married mwah
He’ll be aight, I wouldn’t trip closet
I was ready to thrown my cellphone cus the resolution in the intro 😂😂😂
