Great video!! Its always nice to have a "Monica" closet or shelf. 😉 Your room is very nicely organized and it has a great flow to it!! Im glad I found your channel. K-5 Art Teacher from Illinois
I'm guessing the school will not want you putting book shelves on the New countertop. In our school they but cupboards above the counter for extra storage.
Maybe 4 videos like this where you forget to do an introduction you record a generic one that you put at the beginning where you introduce yourself and you say welcome to my video and then it goes into whatever you recorded
I like having something bulky by my door like chromebook cart or file cabinet for lock downs (I can move it in front of the door if needed to block intruders). I know it’s an awful thought. But it’s the world we live in 😢
Did youbtry having the table like option 2 but having the rolling cart under the numbers so it's with the other stuff you'll put on the counters. But have rhe other cart where you put your computer by the plug. Also with option 2 if you went purely with that, I'd make the computer cart against the Ikea shelves and the 3 tier closer to the door. My brain says it'll look nicer due to their size and possibly make the entry a smidge wider too.
I keep math manipulatives, STEM toys, flash cards, and math games in the Ikea drawers! We use the bins every day during our 4 math centers. In one of the white crates, I keep our reading group folders. I am not sure what I will do with the other white crates and drawers in the back just yet because I'm looking to change a few things up this year!
I would move the table up in the corner next to the screen and the green shelves. I think you mentioned you use them for storing teacher resources... so you could use the top of that area for small group / other desk supplies. It would take the place of your (2) white rolling carts. If it is too tight, then move the screen to the other side of the whiteboard. I know you would lose that bulletin board, but you could make one on the right side (next to your table)... just throwing out another option.
I would love to put my table in front of the green cabinets but I didn't love the idea of moving my screen and losing whiteboard or bulletin board space. But I love the idea of just making my own "bulletin board". This will be the next thing I try! :)
Hi, I'm sorry but I just found your channel because I love watching teacher classroom set-up videos but I don't know your name or the grade you teach to see if I should subscribe and follow. Could you possibly provide at least the grade. Thank you. Alicia from CT

That's so sweet of you. Thank you! The Monica shelf is definitely needed!

Yes, option two is really cute.

What is behind that door?
Option 2 would be for me.
What do you keep in the Ikea bins, the white crates, and the drawer sets you have in the back?
