Currently ls swapping my 88 mustang with a 5.3 ls and I’m building it from block up I’ve bought new forged pistons and most the stuff to build the bottom end, currently on my last two items which is the cam shaft and oil pump. After those I’ll start building the top. Exited to see other ls foxbodies to inspire me to continue buildiing mine

Glad to see you say your 4.8 spools a 7875 good. I’ve got a 4.8 with VS Billet 7875/.96 AR TSP stage 2.5 heads, BTR stage one turbo cam and a full trick turbo kit. Was worried it would be laggy. Haven’t driven it yet…. Fuel system work now then methanol injection then dyno tune 👍
I just sold my 7875 1.25 exhaust housing yesterday but from a roll, it’s instant spool. No lag at all! With yours being a smaller exhaust housing, it’s gonna be even better. Reason it’s rough spooling on the transbrake is a converter issue.

Get another front bumper and do that with it keep that original oem one incase u wanna go back I got a oem one thats cracked and its been hard finding a OEM one in good shape that's not been bottomed out or cracked or popping apart on the corners
That’s a good idea. I didn’t plan on cutting the whole bottom off of this one & it’ll be dzus fastened on. Only problem is when the valance is off, you’ll see all of the holes & rivets.
@@BmoreFox yea I've done one or two before their not bad looking at all just sometimes loading on the trailer or something is a little frustrating but I normally take boards an put under the tires when I load in car hauler to move it around to different events an such id get another an do jus like what u said so u can remove it Incase you did have to trailer it it wouldn't drag the trailer or ramps
@@jesseholland1851 yeah it 100% has to be removable, for loading it on trailer & cooling when street driving. For some reason, I’m having issues getting my bumper & drivers side fender to fit right & bolt together. Idk if the car was hit before or what. It’s not hitting anything, I just can’t get it to line up lol. Probably going to mount them off the car, then try to mount fender to car.
I’m a noob. Torn the Ford engine out in March. Started the LS turbo swap in May & it pretty much got done in October, so 6 months. It’s not 100% but it runs just need to wrap everything up
@@BmoreFox they say the easiest way to beat a ford with a ford is to put a Chevy engine in it. I have an 87 t-top project hull, have no idea the drivetraine she'll get
I’m 6’5 240lbs. Not saying the team z is horrible. I’m still gonna use it but the racecraft just seems better IMO. The team z low mount is what I’m talking about. The mid or high mounts might be better. I have to cut my trans tunnel brace to make them fit. Also since I’m so tall, I had to put the kirkey so far back on the mount that it’s damn near impossible to get the 2 rear mounting bolts in the floor pan.

Nope hasn’t been on a dyno yet. I taught myself how to tune the car so eventually, it’ll go on the dyno to find max power!

Are u sure its original fenders or bumper? My non OEM bumper didn't wanna fit my original fenders to save my life....lolol
