Great start to a great adventure. Don't put to much pressure on yourself and Marie regarding CZcams video's! As nice as it is for us to watch your travels, the travels will only continue if you find a balance for you both as i'm sure you know.
Just started watching your channel . I've been going through a similar process Bobby . I threw myself into s campervan build and now using it . I can understand what you've been through. Your journey is more about finding yourself again, than your destination. although I am looking forward to watch you get there. Keep on discovering ! I look forward to seeing how you get on .
I think it’s a good choice to take Marie buddy. Experiences shared are always better than one’s done alone. Also Red has some more company and someone to play with which will help him. And like you said, it’s not just a destination, get there as fast as you can. It really is a journey and learning to enjoy every second of that journey is the ultimate experience. Just stay away from Gaza completely. Don’t wanna hear on news lorry’s been hijacked and you’ve both been kidnapped haha.
What happens on the journey you cant plan only the start point an where you hope to get to. Everything else is extra enjoy what you do and the people that you meet.
Noticed a bit of negative chat about taking your dog to Australia. I live over in Oz and have a dog and we go camping and 4 wheel driving all the time. No you can’t take them into the National Parks (well you’re not supposed to but people do in the more remote ones) but there are endless other epic places to camp out both coastal and out bush so it’s not a drama. Just check if the area you are camping is baited with 1080 (a poison for foxes and feral dogs) and if so muzzle your pooch or keep it tied up. Enjoy your trip mate.
Good to see you on CZcams, Instagram is ok but limited to what you can show, I follow Max and Occy he travels around Australia with his dog, he releases a video every two weeks which is much more manageable.
Do your homework on shipping to Australia. No joke they inspect your vehicle extremely good and any mud, plants, bugs or grime YOU WILL BE DENIED! Don't ask me how I know. Secondly your dog will be quarantined most likely, in fact 99.99% sure.. Australian is the hardest country to ship a vehicle into but you are rewarded with a 1 year travel visa right away. They will check every square inch including inside your frame using a micro camera. It is no joke! If you get denied you will have to ship out on the next ship at your cost so make sure you have money to do so and a new destination. Good luck safe travels.
