- As Marie is new to the trip and still settling in, I thought it worthwhile breaking the ice with a Q&A on the shore of Lake Bled in Slovenia to find out a bit more about her and other parts of the trip!

I have been watching your trip but missed the bit where you and Marie met. I’m so happy to see this CZcams post which explains it all. Love you two together and of course the dogs too! Keep on trucking, absolutely love seeing your adventures and your footage. What an amazing life you are living!

Good luck you two. I met my now Wife whilst going through a divorce and living in a motorhome with my 5yr old daughter. Wasn’t on the trip you’re on, but fully embraced van life and within 6wks of meeting we were on the NC500 loving life & getting to know each other in a way you can only do living in 18m2 of truck. 😎 Fast forward 7yrs and we’re married with my daughter plus two young boys. Hi both. ( and dogs). I met my now wife when a relationship came to an end. I was living in my 2 berth touring caravan and , after less than a week she moved in, and we have been together now for 18yrs. It's FATE. And ment to be ( you two meeting) so, go for it and enjoy every minute. Looking forward to following you on your journey.

Good idea to fill in the gaps. Not that you two should feel obliged, but it is good to understand how the team changed. Maybe Marie will be able to catch you next time you fall off a tree on a semi-cliff!

Pretty mental to just change a lifestyle so suddenly. Takes gutts and not everyone has that. 🙏 Very interesting how life takes u in all sorts of ways.
Think back and its crazy to think where u was once to where u are now.
