Kia is ruining their brand by not addressing the car thefts. Im concerned everyday that my k5 wont be there in the mornings. My best friend just got his 23 forte back after an attempted theft. Kia had no parts and took 2.5 months to repair it

Any car can be stolen. I have the K5 Ave and haven't had any issues
If you're that concerned get a kill switch installed.
You can get all of those safe-adds, but it doesn’t help you with the insurance company once they have categorized a vehicle in the high theft bucket. Insurance companies are just looking at the fact that certain models and model years are stolen. I’ve even heard from some neighbors that the cops often don’t even show up if they hear it was a Kihia stolen. That’s why the company needs to address it!

Less and less option of short car. Small car does not mean short. I want a short car for NYC driving. I am still driving honda fit which is 161 inch length. most of 160ish car got discountined. Rio 5 door was one of them. Now seems we only have kia soul (165in) and hyundai venue(159in) in this short car group.

All its competition have left or are leaving the US market and it still has minimal sales. The reason others have left the US - Americans aren't interested in this class of cars, even at their low price tags. Is the Yaris or Versa still around? Fit, Fiesta, and Sonic are gone.
I believe they are getting rid of the Rio and replacing it with k3. If they follow Korean market

Unless its a Tahoe, Explorer or something. I dont see the point in the market to be having sooooo many crossovers. They remind me of a soccer mom car... but what the heck men suppose to drive then because i had dealers tell me most of the crossover sales are from women

No. I drive an old 2012 and 0 problem. Actually better than any american car I owned as fas back as a Cutlass Calais and a Grand Prix. My last stint with an american car was a 2000 Chrysler Neon...

In 2013 brand new - I drove that thin 131 thousand miles with only 11 oil changes in a period of 7 years - was the best car I ever have - never ever had a problem with that little fella
And I remorse the day I trade in that car 🚘 for a new Chevrolet pick up truck 🛻 in 2020
@@davidguarin358 Are you talking about the Neon? Let me make sone precisions: the first year (2000) with the car was excruciating, so many problems. There were even talks of head gaskets. But I give it to you, there were no big problems the next 12 years. The cas had such a bad reputation though. But like you, the little beast grew on me and as you I remored the day I traded it for the Rio. The design was fabulous. Probably the best looking car I ever owned. Still think about it.
