- We went back to Blackpool Pleasure Beach to check out the progress of Valhalla, look at some potential new ride markings, ride some of our favourite rides and cover the subjects of interest that we missed in our opening day video.

This eticket nonsense really needs sorting. Especially if you find yourself in the circumstances you had with splitting up from son and mum.....we have something in common, I also have a son called Charlie. He's just turned 1.4m so he'll finally be getting on some "big boy" rides this year. Great to see you've got him started early! 👍
It needs to be scrapped, it puts a dampener on the guest experience.

We print ours out before we go and we find it much easier 😊
I don't fancy paying for the printer ink lol, let BPB do it with it being their system of scanning at every ride

Drome arcade is defo on life support. RMC single rail or a Mack big dipper would go well in that site
Grand National is certainly a good way to start, and yeah I think the RMC rumour could have some truth

Have you guys considered getting waterproof slips for your phones? Can still use the screen while its inside, i got one for a few quid purely bc i knew id be taking it on valhalla ahah

Railblazer at CGA is to me the spiritual successor to the Blackpool Wild Mouse. Just a crazy intense ride and one of my favorite ever rides. If it were to be installed OPPOSITE the site of the Wild Mouse, then than would be the best thing ever. Having said that, I expect Cedar Fair would just move it to one of their other parks.
It may or may not be sold to BPB but it’s certainly a possibility when piecing together all of the info out there currently.

Across the road from the pleasure beach the big car park a couple of years ago they put planning permission in for a biggest roller coaster in the world like America a double launch roller coaster goes over put the never built it but they did get planning for it
A double launch roller coaster like America road Costa with archway over and then you come back down and that was the plan on the big car park across the road and you enter it from inside the park and then you where the big one comes down there and then use big turnover and then you look back around the egg into the
This was “The Bigger One”, rumours about this stopped in the late 2000s.

Ooooh I was starting to think that the area behind the arcades would be a car park for the proposed (allegedly) air b&bs along the front, but the whole RMC single rail rumour seems to be cropping up a lot. Hopefully it happens 🤞

have kiosks (like self serve counters in asda and tesco) scan QR code and hit print... simple. or even better have it like towers. and if they say its to do with checking numbers just have a person with a counter as they guide people through.
Should be like the majority of the pay one price parks, no ride scanning

We rode Infusion on Sunday and I came off saying it was the worst ride I’ve ever had on it too. It absolutely killed my shoulders man. Apart from that we had a great couple of days. Best ride I’ve ever had on the Big One on saturday 😊 Great vlog. We saw you guys filming at Valhalla when we were on Flying Machines haha. Was nice to chat to Mike briefly. Hopefully we can make it to the May event.

too many sheep bemoaning this ride. I'm an experienced themepark goers with plenty rides under my belt i can assure you. Infusion, could be better, but its ok..yes a little banging of your nut perhaps..but its a decent ride. Sure, replace it but my goodness there are at the very least....8 other rides which need to go first.
@@user-nb9xt5tl7n No need to call ppl sheep just because they have a different experience to you. Most of us here are “experienced theme park goers with lots of rides under our belts” so I can assure you our opinion is as valid as yours. Lots of factors affect the ride experience - weather, someones physical condition, where abouts on the train they sit. I normally enjoy the ride and had a great go on it last Halloween. Had many rides over the years and normally don’t find it too bad and will defend it. This time it shredded my shoulders from them banging against the restraints. Rides are subjective. Lots of ppl hate Nash and call it rough, I think it’s ace and never find it particularly rough as far as woodies go.
All I'll say on Valhalla when I was there last week... I was told the ride system itself is "running perfectly" with no issues.👍🏻
The arcade is definitely gone. How soon though is the question? I notified how empty it was. Car park markings were interesting and have a photo of them.
The arcade has been on borrowed time for a few years, the fun really begins once it comes down.
Ahh we were there on the Saturday. Was SO pleased the original queue line is back on Wallace. Also, I’m only halfway through your vlog so sorry if you cover this - but we were curious why they have put in the clear screen at the top of the river caves drop at the end - any ideas?

Is a quick workaround for the etickets to sign in the app on both phones or does it log you out of one when you connect to the other?
I had to use the app for my ticket, and the website in my chrome browser for my son. Pain in the backside.

i get motion sick on fairground rides such as waltzers but can go on rollercoasters such as the big one with no issue. would you recommend icon? is it very intense or sickly?
Honestly it’s difficult to say, ICON can be nauseating

Just with e tickets only thing I can suggest is saving it as your phones screen saver so u can save time on the day may not solve all issues with families etc but only an idea
Unfortunately this isn’t a solution for me, my work is social media based and my lock screen is always full of notifications. The ticket scanning should be scrapped.

when i was last there you could literally see the rails from the broken wood in the carriage i was sitting in.Also, the last carriage is a nightmare and i felt like complaining and should of - dangerous imho and will never ride it again.

It’s so hit and miss, we timed it well on Sunday to pick ours up, e-ticket printing should be done on a different till or shop, tell people that W&G shop also do it

The new ride should be Revolution 2. Just the same as the existing one but with 2 loops. Then in a few years they can build Revolution 3,4,5 etc adding an extra loop each time. It should have a celebrity tie in too, im thinking Dermot O'Leary.

I get what your saying about cracked phones but most flagship phones in the last 6 years are waterproof my Samsung s9 is 5 years old and fully waterproof I've fully submerged it in swimming pools etc
I’m not willing to risk it, I need my phone for more important stuff than BPB’s data collecting.
iPhone's while claimed to be IP67 or whatever it is, aren't actually covered for water damage in the warranty
It’s still an absolute pain when the phone won’t charge because it has detected water in the charging point

There the day before. The e-ticket system is shocking. 50:50 if it works. They really need to just have it scan to get in, done. Making everyone suffer because of the odd OAP going to watch the money hole ice show. Grumble over 😅

Question Scott is the pleasure Beach still card payment only too buy food drinks and merchandise as they were not taking cash too purchase anything into the park
They started card only payment last June I think
They were not taking no cash atall which I think is unfair really
After all the customer visiting Blackpool pleasure Beach should still be able to use cash aswell as card

Jumping in on this one, Guest Services do a pre payment card where you can give them cash, it’s a bit of a pain but helps them not have cash everywhere across the park

vote for change with your feet I say. Blackpool PB needs to each shape up or ship out and let property developments build flats. Icon aside, very little there, and i am a fan but also a critic. Change, investment, buy up more land, move with the times. Less people who visit might get the message.
What land they going to buy? Roads run around the park, there’s the sea front and houses.
What are you on about? The only issues are the ticket system and the fact some rides have been removed and not replaced. BPB is one of the UK’s best amusement parks.
They should ban people going for wristbands when you don’t them it defeats the object of going digital

CZcams content creators are paid through ad revenue, without it we'd all be uploading on different platforms which aren't free to the viewer. Costs me into the thousands to put out regular content every month.
