  • The Weber Genesis II collection is one of the most beloved gas grill series out there, but which one of these models best fits your grilling style? To help you find out, we’ve compared two of the most popular Genesis II series grills: Weber Genesis E-310 and Weber Genesis SE-335 Special Edition. The E-310 is the top seller in big-box stores nationwide, while the SE-335 is available only through select Weber dealers and stands as our most popular Genesis II grill.
    Though they appear quite similar at first glance, there are a few key differences in terms of quality and features worth considering. For instance, does the SE-335’s additional sear station between two of the main burners make a difference in preheat time and sear quality? We cooked steak on each grill to get to the bottom of that pressing question, and we answer many more so you can better understand which of these highly sought-after grills belongs in your backyard.

      Grill grates are nice, and would be a better option in my mind over the cast iron grids.

    Great vid, my 2012 E-310 is still going strong. I did replace the grilling grates with GrillGrates what a HUGH difference they make evening out the hot spots and the sear marks are spectacular. And grease fires are a thing of the past even doing a full package of Wrights thick-cut bacon. I do have a question, the WEBER emblem on the grill looks like crap and I'm having a hard time finding a replacement. Even tried WEBER's web site. Any help is appreciated.

    I just ordered the SE-315 that has the 9mm SS grillgrates. Would have liked to have the 335 but without the side burner. For me, the side burner is just a waste. To bad they don`t make a grill with just the sear burner.

    Looking to pick up a Weber Genesis ll e325. Not sure if the grid is stainless steel. 🤔

    • @BBQGuys
      @BBQGuys  Před 4 lety

      The grid on the e325 is porcelain-enameled cast iron. If you're looking for stainless steel the SE-335 is the way to go.

    Weber grills have just gotten so expensive over the last years. My 7 year old Weber Genesis E-300 had all the features of the SE-335 for the price of the E-310. By the way, one can easily buy the stainless steel grates and the lighting as accessories - worth the upgrade.

      Markus Boehm huge two thumbs up 👍 I will upgrade My new Weber .. I just helped my boss move out from one office to another office building .. while moving we took some stuff over to his storage that he rents .. in that storage he had brand new WEBER Genesis 2 . Powder coated model in black .. I cant complain he gave it to me ... he did tell me that it was pure premium quality lol ... I will upgrade to stainless grill and with LED light ... cabinet doors not sure ? I rather have open feel like cabinet doors hold moisture

      Great at heat retention, just not the best for longevity. Keep them well seasoned with oil and you will make them last much longer.

    I bought the E 310 on the advertising of all the wonderful features it offered . Now not only does Weber not compliment the E310, but actually makes the buying public think they did wrong ....Oh Now you need this ... And to compare it to what I bought from them with their advertising , now it is no good . Gotta get the new one with the searing station, the rest of the better things it comes with....well, It is no longer make in North America, and as far as I am concerned Weber can go and send away some more customers ! After all the Corona virus has taken it's greatest toll in the world in the country whose President lies to it's people including the media . WEBER... Stop trying to influence people in other countries with the assumption that the residents of all countries in your buying populace are as receptive to your short lived avertizing as those in the USA .
