Ness using Steve’s own blocks to take him out of freefall was super smart. Great recovery!
it's a shame Steve is genuinely broken to get banned in most big tournaments because this is why I think he's such a good addition
He just changes the way both players have to think about the match and it's always so awesome seeing how creative players get when steve is involved
For some recoveries that have long animation after landing (Ike) , it can backfire where the character goes into freefall when the blocks disappear under him.
Also DK can do grounded Up B but when the blocks vanish it becomes aerial and he goes free fall
he dodges the anvil too

The Pokémon Trainer recovery with Squirtle, Ivysaur, and Charizard was so great, it HAD to be played twice.
My favorite part of that Spargo clip will always be the fact that Void clutches that set out after with the cleanest Raindrop I’ve ever seen

Cloud air dodged toward the stage, then used his double jump, used a wall jump, and then his limit up b was enough to get him back up to the ledge.
Jumping in the way of your opponents attacks is in fact a surefire way to live

what falco did with the hero's recovery is what I tend to do with K.rool's recovery if I get him off stage but something happens to my recovery I just hover around K.rool and wait for his propellors to just hit me and reset my recovery
