I'm so glad that Stephen just sat back and let him tell the story without interrupting. Not all late night hosts will do that.
That's why I couldn't stand watching Jimmy Fallon
@@JJRush_ Shut up, I need to interrupt your sentence to ask for an example of a late night host who might interrupt his guest!
but the first minutes he interrupted constantly-which maddened me.
You should definitively watch Eddie's appearances on "The Graham Norton Show" than. Absolutely brilliant (both Redmayne as guest and Norton as a host likewise)
That's why him and Graham Norton are the best
Eddie always comes across as apologising for stuff he hasnt even done yet. Bless him.
@Laura P. Vanderbooben more like, very Hugh Grantish to me! LOL
Reminds me of my English girl friend - always ending every other sentence with " sorry.".
@Mark Taylor: Yep.... and that is one reason why we love him so much. That and that he has that imploring voice and the velvetty eyes! And looks too young to be doing anything like what he's doing. :)
So very English. "Sorry, sorry..."
He just hasn’t stopped apologizing for ‘crimes of grindelwald’.
He has one of those faces where he's still going to look like he's 20 when he's 60.
@@felixmidas3245 Wow. Rude much?
@@felixmidas3245 wtf.......................... the fact that hes apologetic and insicure is what we love about him. stfu

No Felicities were hurt during the making of this movie. - Eddie Redmnayne 2019
Eddie Redmayne is a pure, wholesome, authentic delight. This interview was way too short. Much success for this movie‼️
"No Pineapple, No Pineapple" 😂
never pineapple, never pineapple 😂
I like Hawaiian pizza.
Noplay How could you even say this without feeling intense shame?
He was really disappointed. 😂😂
@@GeraltBosMang me too.
Quick, someone write this man a screenplay where he plays a man who works in a deli.
Seriously!!
Just give me a one-hour episode of Eddie telling stories and I will be at peace for the entirety of my life.
YESSSS 😭😭😭
Give Eddie his own talk show where all he does is talk about stories from the sets
Death by Eddie Redmayne‘s charm. What a wonderful way to leave this earth.
Who can anything but love someone who gets unfashionably and embarrassingly enthusiastic about something career-irrelevant on live TV?
Well, I suppose I could, uh, work in a shop of some kind, or... or do, uh, freelance, uh, selling of some sort of, uh, product. You know... A salesman, like maybe in a, uh, haberdasher, or maybe like a, uh, um... a chapeau shop or something. You know, like, "Would you... what size do you wear, sir?" And then you answer me.
@@lakrids-pibe
Why are uh you uh talking uh like this uh
@@sofiaguerrero0969 It's a quote from "This Is Spinal Tap"
When are they gonna adapt Pride and Prejudice with Eddie as Bingley?
Mari Randall omg yes! I always thought he’d be a perfect bingley.
Yes!
yesss
Alyssa Pinon Same!😄👌🏻
😂
Eddie and his velvet suits!
He does look very good in them.
He honestly looks good in anything 👍
Agreed Corduroy?
It's definitely corduroy, but he always looks great in velvet
He would look great wearing a bin bag.
His dismay when Stephen mentions pineapple on the Christmas ham. Blasphemy
The pure joy he has after Stephen suggest his backup plan is fantastic. Stephen is a great host and who doesn't love Eddie
"We had the memory of that" Sir I think the word you’re looking for is TRAUMA😂
Hahahahahahaha..true!
I love him. He’s so awkward it’s cute
@@felixmidas3245
I think you’re a little troll.
Eddie: No Felicities were hurt during the making of this mov- Colbert interrupts him: no spoilers.
"Hurtling" sounds like a word that aeronauts would naturally avoid using.
Loved that word and thought about hearing recently how one's vocabulary reflects one's intelligence
@@lunellkruger2981 are you talking about the very stable geniuses with all the best words ?
@@C4reful Hahaha, of course I am
When a guy shows up in a suit looking all uncomfortable .... then sits down with a leg bent underneath him.
Love these kinds of guys.
Eddie Redmayne is just a perfect human being. Honestly. He's like Mary Poppins, practically perfect in every way :)
He sits like a child....love that about him.💚💚💚
Redmayne’s tie matches his watch. Jesus. For such a tired man, I have to assume that was a professional dresser
He has said before that he is actually colour blind and that his wife organises his clothes.
Yep, he is colour blind.
all credits to his wife
Can I have an Eddie for Christmas? Ill keep him safe in my pocket and love him forever.
I've loved him ever since "Pillars of the Earth." So glad his talent is recognized.
Me too 😊
Omg I completely forgot he was in that show! Welp I guess I know what I'm rewatching later on!!
Yes, I loved him there!
@@MegaDiannah Also starring Ms. Hayley Atwell! Definitely an underated mini-series
@@G4Rat never heard of that one! I'll have to check that one out!!
Get yourself a wife who will buy you a ham cutting machine. That´s love, man, that´s love
I love this dude. He’s such a great actor. If you haven’t seen his portrayal of Stephen Hawkins you should !!
It will never make up for the monstrosity that was his performance in Jupiter Ascending.
Tonyiisme he’s my top choice for Mr. Fantastic in MCU’s Fantastic Four
‘Jupiter ascending’ was great just because how seriously he took it. 🤣
It's Hawking not Hawkins. Sorry, I'm a spelling nut.
That’s a good looking suit mr redmayne
that color 💯
Puh-lease make Mr. Redmayne the next Doctor!!! I have never seen anyone more fit for the role!!
#doctorwho #whovian #regenerate
That might be a little restrictive for him as a creative actor, but he would be perfect for the role.
Brea Cheeze yassssss
At least your screams made it into the film 😂
LOL!
Just watched this and his interview at Colbert's from 3 years ago back to back... I swear to god the man hasn't aged a day.
He is the most adorable human being 😭❤️❤️
me: eddie is at least 22
eddie: i am at least 37
I always like seeing same actors in different roles together
why is he so fun to listen to
Colbert's sympathetic and empathetic frustration at 8:31 was so palpable. hahahaha
He’s such a young, vibrant guy - I’d love to see him in something more modern.
eddie redmayne talking about ham for 3 minutes
and surprisingly it's not boring 😆🤭
Good interview! Now I will go see this movie just to hear those recorded screams!
LOL!
Complete chaos and Carnage is the perfect way to describe having multiple kids under 4.
🤣🤣🤣😭
No I think that is his kid's names. LOL (This is my daughter, Carnage, and my son, Chaos.) :o)
The Aeronauts is brilliant. I saw it yesterday - truly terrifying at times!!!
it sure is, my father almost had a heart attack watching this movie
@@DaveFisher-cq2dr Oh dear.
this was a truly excellent interview, absolutely delightful and captivating
*I ADORE HIS CHARM AND I LOVE HIS STORIES!!!*
I always imagine him with a huge, bushy shock of bright red hair when I hear his name.
This is a very interesting interview. Eddie Redmayne is such an interesting person and fun to watch.
I know hes an actor and knows how to deliver a line but that was an excellently recounted story! My heart's in my throat! And in now as i read this back, i think Ive watched Nottinghill one too many times..hahaha..nah! that's impossible.
These two are always so engaging ! Thats why im excited to see Eddie and Stephen together again !
I love this young man and I totally dig his suit!!!
i rewatched eddie rebutting pineapple way too many times
3:10 I'm going to show this to my mom when she offers me pineapple this Christmas, when I have been rejecting it for 32 years 😂
We must protect this man at all costs!! Such a genuine sweetheart!!
Funny story! 👌👍😉
Director: Yeah but we used your scream in the movie!
😄😄😄
What a lovely man.
I LOVE Eddie's stories 😂😂😂
Wow I would never get in a almost 200 year old balloon there is a reason we have airplanes now but how crazy we almost lost this BADASS actor
Gosh, Eddie Redmayne is just so dashing I can’t handle it!! Haha
"The thinner the better!"
I ❤️ the way he sayz “HAM” 🤣🤣🤣
9 minutes felt like 3... Eddie's so cute and funny and Stephen is a great host, he's just the greatest. ♥️♥️ Love them
Such a great story teller. ❤️
Eddie is pure joy. Top 5 most delightful people on earth.
How exciting, what a great storyteller.
Eddie a real one for saying no pineapple.
Kids are not like raccoons. Raccoons are extremely useful and necessary for our planet.
If they were "extremely useful and necessary" then why aren't they everywhere, and why are they banned animals in my country? LOL
Because each animal has it's place. You have other animals that do the job that a raccoon would do in your country. Here in the USA they are very useful to the ecological system. And they are cute too 😂
StarkRaving Ralph lol that was funny! Good one!
"Life is a game of chess men are the pawns women are the logical pieces and the king is the children." -me like 5 years ago.
Kids, like raccoons are curious and cute, they'll tip containers over to get at what's inside and they leave clutter all over the place.
"why don't they next time just put you in a booth and beat you with sticks..." :D :D :D lmao!
The Adorable Meter has been obliterated. 🥰
4:38 this is what I say when I literally talk to anyone 😂😂
If you're able to get that perfect pineapple, 80% sweet 20% sour, it does work wonderful with ham.
What a great suit E.R. is wearing! I love that colour & fabric, very dapper :)
The full audio of their experience would be so interesting to listen to dang
This guy is an incredible actor
3:09
YES PINEAPPLE!!!!
3:10 MEME MATERIAL
Eddie and felicity look alike, they could be brother and sister.
when he sat down, I was like "where the fuck is his leg..?!?!"
he has such a unique personality that i can not word it out
One of the sexiest man alive. Wow. I love him so much.
Eddie is so adorkable 😍
I am so in love with that man
Live him. IF he makes a movie, I never miss it.
Get him an internship at Zabar's or Katz deli! Also, seconded that he should absolutely play Mr. Bingley in another Pride and Prejudice adaption - because dammit we can always use another Jane Austen adaptation
US view: "I hope you had a lawyer too". Eddie, the British gentleman: "yeah" laughing, thinking "why would I?"
Those eyes 🥰
Eddie is just a dream ❤
Eddie Redmayne is the truth. I love him.
Throw those cards, hell yes, this is some dramatic shit. I love this interview ( ˘ω˘ )☞♡☜( ˘ω˘ )
Someone get that man the chain-mail gloves that delis use to clean those machines!
Aww stephen, thank you for not interrupting 🥰
Jon and the band are on fire!
OMG you are bringing back memories of great Ruben sandwiches from New York delis, sliced so thin, piled so high, horseradish and mustard,be still my carnivorous heart!
Man O man - some people have all the fun. I would love to see those shots of them in the balloon.
whahahaha omg that transition back to the movie XD Genius XD
He did not just pull a Mark Ruffalo and said the 2 main charaters hurdle to their death.....
Dude I definitely caught that lol but now it kinda makes me wanna see the movie lol
@@srich122287 saaame haha
I love his stories 🤣
I admiringly love him
That's a killer corduroy suit.
I'm obsessed with him
3:09 I have just stanned Eddie Redmayne even more
I died when I saw Eddie sit like me😭😭😍😍😍😍😍
Legend 👏
an Aeronaut is someone who can cut ham real thin!
