What baffles me is people flip breakers and messing with them when there's notes that say "hey, don't turn this on" and it's locked out. Yet they still friggin flip it on. I was at a store and was trying to find the breakers for my machine. I flipped a couple tripped ones, and when they weren't what I was lookin for, I turned em right back off bc they tripped for a reason. People just don't think anymore lol
I guess that could of been worst scenario if that was a micro channel coil, but then again I bet that Carrier coil was not cheap either. Last summer I ran across couple of the 16 SEER A/C condenser coils leaking in the bottom left corner, my distributor quoted me $1700.00 for a coil with 6 week expected delivery time.
That particular model of Klein non-contact voltage detector has issues. It can't be trusted. Throw it in the trash immediately. Start using the non-contact voltage on that field piece clamp meter. It's much more reliable.
Most IMPORTANT tool for HVAC Technician. Bring! A! Ducking! Cattle prod! opossums and raccoons are a thing, and you definitely want one on hand if you're unfortunate enough to have an encounter with the little bastards. HVAC for 14 years.
Never trusted those widow makers, unfortunate but makes a great video 😂 good stuff man 🤙🏽
Have had good luck with Fluke stick, never let me down.Never bought any other brand of widow maker.

Not bad it keeps the sun off my arms and it’s new dry fit shirts they breath underneath my arms and on my back so it’s not to bad

Never trust that always use your probes ! We call those widow makers
@@hvacboss2060 I'm not saying to trust it, you pointed to the fieldpiece saying use that instead, but that also has a non contact setting.
how do you find out if the motor is short to ground?

I don’t use those that’s one of the installers tool I use my meter to check for power 😬
I guess it’s about speed for you not about the quality of the installs
