- Today, we see that Russia has begun using a new type of armored tank which features rusty sheet metal on the Ukrainian battlefield. We also learn that Ukraine has taken credit for the attack on the Russian missile carrier ship in the Baltic Sea which has expanded the range of attacks on the Russian Navy by Ukrainian intelligence forces. We also have received photos of the damage to the Zaporizhzhia Nuclear Power Plant which show a hole in wall of the containment building which appears to be a missile strike. Just looking at that tank; my first thought was did they get the top from the roof of a chicken barn? Same dome shape with air vents on top on the farms around where I live. And the close up with the description........well, this emoji is my true reaction....😂! All the way through. Just paint a bull's eye on the tank, it's cheaper than that ridiculous roof. So when does it get blown up! I guess I won't have to wait long. Maybe by the next post?

The Tank Completed one assault and got back safely, then it's hiding spot was GEO located through telegram photos posted by the Russians. Not sure what they used to target it, prob artillery but it is no more.

That photo of the hole in the roof, is one hole two sides of the roof. Black tar roof on top of probably Styrofoam on top of corrugated sheet metal.

I bet those holes in the killdozer tank are from bolts and such when the metal was in its original use.
On a pedantic note, the "dragon's teeth" are actually caltrops. Dragon's teeth are anchored to concrete underground and a vehicle climbs up them and gets stuck. Caltrops roll when they're pushed and one point comes up and lifts the vehicle. There are also hedgehogs, which are 3D crosses welded from angle iron or train track. They're held in place by the points being driven into the ground when something drives up them.
Imagine building neat pretty bunkers where you can do so with unarmored back hoes. It's political theater. "HEY USA, Here's how were spending your BILLIONS of dollars, on hog wire, Tyveck, logs and a $20/hr backhoe operator.

Look at the "flowering pattern" in the roof and wall. it was shot from the inside! If it was shot from the outside in, the"flower pattern" would be on the INSIDE which it isn't. IT CONCLUSIVELY makes the culprit the russians. Again IAEA is NOT allowed in the ZNP.

The strikes on the Ukrainian nuclear powerplant are very concerning. There are several things in the reactor building that could lead to a meltdown if they are disabled. Russia really needs to shut that power plant down, stop using it as a military base, and stop hitting it with their own poorly aimed munitions.

It looks like a penetrating missile hit the containment building. It did not explode on contact, and the containment building is presumably a high quality concrete with massive metal reinforcement.

The photo of the missile hit on the zaporizhzhia power plant would be a near by shed as the roofs of the reactor halls are like 2 meters thick with concrete and steel.
The NPP damage is not what is said. That is the same hole - one from the roof (you can see the tar seam for the roofing material) and one photo from inside the building. Looks like an artillery shell hole.
This thing lasted 3 minutes on the battlefield. Russia is running out of hardware. It's just a fact at this point. From using T-55s/T-54s instead of T-90s/T-80s/T-72s, to using APCs instead of IFVs, to using Buhanka vans and literal Chinese golf carts instead of military trucks. The Soviet stockpile is now 75% destroyed. At the current high attrition rate, Russia will only have to fight this war with what it can produce domestically in about 6-8 months. And at that point, Russia will compensate the absence of hardware with manpower so you can expect the current personnel attrition rate to skyrocket from its current range 700 to 1000 a day to 2700 to 3000 a day.

To be fair to Switzerland they were surrounded by countries that the inhabitants would have had allegiances to in both world wars, better to keep out of it than risk insurrection. Ukrainians aren't screwed, but they need an extra 100k troops to maintain the border, more anti-missile systems to keep their infrastructure intact. Bigger issue is that the West needs to leverage Russia towards capitulation to end the war and accept an updated 2012 border. I also think Canada should do a deployment since they are the least volatile NATO member and Russia would look foolish to escalate due to Canadians.
Some have suggested that these new style tanks are for transporting TROOPS under the metal cover - the APC's don't work and the non-armoured golf-carts are death traps. So they're trying to use these, not as tanks but for troop transport.

The Russians firing at the nuclear power plant is probably them trying to rattle everyone.
You know you have reached the "we are losing, throw everything at the wall" stage when you deliberately build something that blinds a machine that could barely see already and removes 50% of its utility (turret) to stop something that is so manoeuvrable that your design is a legitimate waste of effort.
Unless your aim is to hide what POS you are driving, in which case the "model failed to load correctly" camo might actually work.
This "tank" is clearly a Battering Ram from Age of empires 2. It is on the front to draw enemy ranged attacks because it has 180 pierce armor.
