      That is the equality line - if the line is in the white region, white has a better position. If it is in the black region, black has a better position.

      easily promoted ???? please refer to opposition, and a wide theory discussing the f, g and h pawn diagrams,,, the word 'easy' is hard in chess friend

      I think caruana want to make safety first, because black pawn threat to take d4 (open threat to take bishop with rook) and black queen also threat to take h3..
