- This is not the first time I've been streaming with viewers and this happens btw. It seems that the few people who've stuck around in storm 4 have started to just outright cheat in the game. It's a shame that you can't even have an environment to have fun in this game anymore.

FYI, Just because YOU played for years on end without seeing it, doesn't mean it's not an issue. I literally play storm 4 once in a blue moon now and I've ran into this shit plenty of times. You're less likely to run into it if you're playing 1 on 1 as opposed to endless lobbies where you can have 8 people join. It's really funny how this is going on yet no one speaks on it because "well, I haven't personally ran into it" mentality. Also, this shit is on PS4, NOT PC.
To be honest it really isnt even like that, even in endless I really dont run into this, yes there are some modders but they definitely dont run the community like that .You dont play the game that much so I just dont understand how you can judge the entire community because your unlucky and run into them. Ive run into this maybe 4 times in all 4 years. Dont talk about a community your not deeply invested in , because it's unfair to the rest of us, if you played the game enough you would realize that this isnt our entire community or even really a fraction, and also no one speaks on it because Its majority players who DONT MOD THE GAME

Again, the "I don't run into this that much" mentality is trash to begin with since you said it's not fair to judge the entire community based on me running into modders yet saying "I don't run into it that much" as a way to minimize the issue is supposed to reflect the entire playerbase. Also, just because the majority don't mod, doesn't mean it's not an issue lol. Imagine caring about the community you're a part of but not caring enough to speak on issues as huge as outright cheating. You simply read the title and assumed I directed the video at the entire playerbase as opposed to how this effect people who DO run into it.

There was another guy named something like "Iaminvincible" and when my friend fought him, he (hacker) chose 3 hashirama's and spammed his shiruken ninjutsu. It's very sad how fans like me who actually likes the series don't want to get the game. Everyone rage quits. I'm currently playing revolution and 3 cucks already rage quit on me. :/

I was in a tournament last week where there were 3 players who modded (I recorded number 1 and 3) :
1. The host was able to use the Boss Fight Momoshiki with its boss attacks from the Boruto story mode.
2. The person I went up with had this costume-modded Sage Naruto who was able to shrug off my attacks every now and again.
3. The final person has 3 Sage Mode Hashiramas as a team.
And there's NO way to report them in game, are you kidding me? And that's not even talking about how awful/stupid people play and how toxic they are.

You shouldn't, I've only ran into a modder once on Player Battles. It was pretty funny too, because he was using Kinshiki and Momoshiki before they were released. He was using the boss battle Momoshiki from RtB story mode. I was using Shisui, he went out of the map, I teleported to him using my ultimate, and got stuck outside of the map lol.😂 If you run into a account called BossBattles, be careful, cause he will use boss mods against you. Other than that, I'd just be worrying about the cheese you're going to encounter, becaue almost everyone online is running a cheesy ass team lol 😭.

From my experience of modding on Naruto for the PC the only way you can use them online is if both players involved have the mods in question installed
What Berto has provided is footage of someone with access to a save editor which allows for these characters/costumes/etc from storymode to be used online upon the PS4 version of the game

I feel like the saddest part is it's happening on an anime game, anime games are so far and few that is like a blessing whenever we get a new one, so for the best anime game to ever come out alongside the xenoverse franchise to result in this is depressing, I've been playing storm 4 since it came out and have been a long fan of naruto and naruto games in general so for this to be what the game is reduced to, it feels extremely underwhelming as if deep down I expected this from people, why cant people just have fun? I can tell you why, its cause they are bad at the game, you dont hack and cheat when you can actually hold your own, only people with the mental efficiency of a turtle see cheating as a viable tactic to win

Neither have I but I don’t play that much now. The craziest I’ve seen is Double Orochimaru, Triple Hashirama, Sage Mode Madara, Momoshiki and kinshiki before they were in the game, and infinite Laser Circus (Darui ninjutsu)

Well that' because the devs sadly still refused to count disconnections as a loss. For whatever reason after 5 or so online titles they still haven't figured out that making disconnections count as a loss would make people stop disconnecting

I've been streaming Ranked Matches and haven't run into any of these guys, I have mods myself but I only do Mods vs Mods with my friends Privately.. Wanted to see the same old Storm 4 Berto vibes, also was one of the ones who asked you why there was no Storm 4 content around. If you want bring me around the endless matches, whoever pulls this stuff out will just get booted offline plain and simple.
I encountered this as well... honestly go to player rounds to have some good rounds but mentioned the exact same words and laughed at the modder about just how much they left themselves opened when they actually fought back

Wanna know something better? You can put 2 of the same character on a team, and when you go to switch, it fails to switch but starts refilling your subs. Also putting 2 of the same on a team with a character they have a TUJ with will give you a glitched TUJ that does 1 and 1/2 bars of hp. Guard break pill it does 1 bar lol

The storm 4 community doesn't condone people for using edit saves (story mode mods), infact people from the community dislike toxic behavior and are mostly considered to be taken seriously. And Usually the storm community is more competative and usually ban people from any online events. Btw people who use mods are not good players, because they can't handle battle heat.
Got the game a month ago. I have tried to check out mods on PC but they were all .rar files and I'm not paying for winzip. The smoothest rounds I've been in were the ones with normal rasenshuriken/ nine tails rasengan, sage art: massive raseengan mega barrage, tailed beast bomb and sage mode naruto. It's sad how people resort to mods in order to win online matches
I've never understood people with no integrity. I remember playing Madden online back in the day and there were those that would get wins not through gimmicks or exploits(which are whack af anyway) but by just forcing the game to freeze or me to be disconnected. My only thought was how pathetic do you have to be to take pride and pleasure from hollow meaningless wins? You did nothing. You earned nothing. You overcame nothing. Why even waste your time and mine? What is gained from this? I played online for a challenge to test my skills. They play seemingly just for an ironic false sense of...pride? Accomplishment? Idk. The storm 4 community itself won’t get any better. Do you have toxic players who believe that they are better than anyone, you have players who won’t teach any other player how to do a certain tech, You have players that continue to spread the toxic hate amongst the players just because they want to, they feel that we need more players who pick OP characters.There are even players who were worship top players but refuses to acknowledge the other players that have skill as well.

I used to play this game every day. Sad to say, but it was basically my life at one point. I made alot of great friends on that game (Revolution as well) that I still talk to today. Makes me really sad to see shit like this. And the worst part is, we'll never get a new Storm game. If this shit starts happening regularly, then an amazing series of games will be forever ruined. I really hope it doesnt come to that.

What matters is the trophies are achieve during story and how you performed in story mod battles and maybe tournaments. (Offline) Nothing should be online unless it’s safe and the devs are always going to be watching for cheaters.
