    When people think of calcium, bone health usually comes to mind first, but calcium’s benefits really go far beyond simply helping to build and maintain a strong skeletal structure. Calcium is also needed to regulate heart rhythms, aid in muscle function, regulate blood pressure and cholesterol levels, support nerve signaling functions and so much more. Without it, our bodies and health would suffer.
    In this episode of Ancient Medicine Today, I share the six warning signs of calcium deficiency, the benefits of calcium and the top calcium-rich foods to add to your diet today. Watch to learn more.

I went to local drugs store today n saw calcium carbonate, calcium citrate n Lithothamnion calcareum (aquqmin). One of the sales girl suggest to take aquamin rather than the other 2 calcium, reasons are if I consume for the long period like years will caused kidney stone n pancreas stones n easily bone fracture if I'm aged. May seek ur kindness to educate me is there any difference between those types of calcium?

    Please explain hypercalcemia, and what you recommend for it.

    • @grant9214
      @grant9214 Před rokem

      Hypercalcemia just means a "high presence of calcium in blood."
      So in that instance, it would be recommended that you actually lower your calcium intake.
      If you meant Hypnocalcemia that's a calcium deficiency, and for that I would recommend that you increase your calcium intake. I wouldn't recommend going over 100% of the daily amount based on a 2K calorie diet. Most people don't even get that many calories. You can get calcium from milk, or almond milk, or oat milk
