IM A 53 YEAR OLD BLACK WOMAN AND THAT WAS THE JAMMMMMMMMM ....MISS THOSE DAYS
Yes!! We all miss those days!
YES !!!
Same! 53 old Black Woman. What Duran Duran song should we recommend? They also need to hear Depeche Mode' "People are People" and INXS "Original Sin".
54 /Black woman/Love this song! 🤟🏾🤟🏾🤟🏾
18 year old black woman AND LOVE BON JOVI!! ESPECIALLY RICHIE SAMBORA!!!
Jon Bon Jovi (the singer) has restaurants where he gives away food to the hungry and homeless. He is a really nice guy.
Yep...no prices on the menus..you pay what you can afford and if you can't afford anything your meal is free
Wow!
JBJ Soul Kitchen
check it out on
CBS Sunday Morning
He also washes dishes there too. Pride of the jersey shore he is our gem
Jon really is a great guy. Much respect for him & of course am a big Bon Jovi fan!
I am a 46 year old black woman. I was in love with Jon Bon Jovi. I loved his music.
White, black or green Jon Bon Jovi is fine! Loved his hair back in the 80's and love it today!!
Brenda Brumfield me too. He is still fine too.
Total babe.
Still love him.
@@SoyLaBonBon Extra on the babe.
Your killin me kid, your reactions are giving this 70 year old man endless laughter. I’m rolling on the floor
Lol me too. I’m half moved, literally only my left eye is tearing up and I’m laughing at the same time. 😄
Dude get off the floor that can hurt an old man like you
*you're
cojaysea I had the same reaction! I never liked Bon Jovi
but when Jon jumped and turned around to sing,
I thought I was gonna fall out of my chair, I was
laughing so hard at Tim's reaction!
Hilarious!!!! 🤣🤣🤣
I'm a 46 year old white woman. I love your reactions to the music I grew up on. You crack me up. I can tell that you have a good heart. I adore your videos. Thank you. ❤️
Same.. and I’m 64. 😉
I agree! Love these reactions!
Same here
Exactly why I love him too!!!
I’m 41 and just thinking the same thing. So lovely to see these great kids get into these songs and totally appreciate them. Need things to smile at at the moment and they provide it with these videos
The 80s when men had better hair than the women!!!
Only because they listened and took quality hair instruction - from us. lol
Oh hell yeah they did LMAO!!
Hey now. . .
FACTS!!! LOL!!!
Holy Hair!! haha 🤟
Bon Jovi has to see this. I’m going to tweet this to him. I think he’ll love it.
I was thinking the same.
You guys are the epitome of how music can transcend culture, race, society, etc. Music is magical and you're living proof. Great job! Keep it up, you're an inspiration.
...beautifully stated... you like so many others, have now handed to me, some of the "joy" these young men have shared with us all. The joy they spread permeates the atmosphere that is our musical memories... That's what I feel, listening and reading, these joyful, connected comments. It's a form... of love. Breathe it in.
I couldn't agree more! This video was absolutely delightful to watch. Bon Jovi are one of my very favourite bands so to see a new generation react so positively is just the most wonderful sight and feeling.
OMG, Your reaction is just PRICELESS! I am 50 years old and black. Back in the day we jammed to R&B but there were certain rock songs that we just LOVED and THIS is one of them. I remembered rocking out to this in 1987 when I was about to turn 17 years old and NOW to see an younger generation (ESPECIALLY being black) rocking out also is AWESOME!!! :)
Same here, except white. 💗🌈
Love it!
@@miamazza317 That's okay, we're ALL the same!!
@@jennyrivers44 Absolutely!!
Same here! 50 years old and this is still the best era of music...remembering rocking at this concert- Slippery When Wet- and now my 17 year old rocks out to all the 70s and 80s rock bands- probably because of this channel. I was shocked when I heard her blasting it in her car!
You just made this 48 year old woman's day. Now, you NEED to listen to Wanted Dead or Alive by Bon Jovi.
And my day too. I'm nearly seventy and I am in Scotland.
Yessss
Yes!!!
My all time favorite song by them.
mrshamp01 you made a 58 year old’s day!
Listen to Def Leopard "Pour Some Sugar On Me"
Their drummer has 1 arm, they... like Bon Jovi are an amazing band
Yaaass!!!
Yes, yes. That was the song that played in my head, when my sexy TA used to come into the lab in college.
I was about to suggest the same
That is my absolute favorite!
Definitely that ☝🏻 “Armageddon It!” “Love Bites” “Rock of Ages” etc! ✌🏻😎
Omg nothing beats going to a Bon Jovi concert and hearing the entire arena singing along to Living on a prayer!
I saw Three Days Grace last year. Before they came on stage they were pumping Livin On A Prayer through the speakers and everyone was singing along. Then they came out and absolutely SMASHED their set. We were already hyped up, it was so smart lol
Nothing. Like. It. Chicago at Soldiers Field. Top 3 concert that I've ever been to!
Bruce
Agree!! The closest I remember was Bryan Adams “There will never be another tonight” where the seats were literally shaking under us as we sang along at the top of our lungs. The 80s were a blast.
Bon Jovi/Skid Row was my first concert ever. I was 14. It was unforgettable!
There was a meme the other day that said "Bon Jovi should be a least a 3/4 of the way there by now" lol
That's funny right there
I posted that once. It's crazy funny.
🤣❤️
Hahaha!!
That is so funny!
You guys are AMAZING role models for open-mindedness and we all need more of that. Thank you for being you.
I am crying right now my brother loved Bon Jovi I used to perm his hair like this. He has since passed so this brings him back to me
Julie,.. I saw your comment and I wanted to say I'm sorry to hear about your brother. 😯I have my brothers still and my sisters and I'm thankful, but I know it must be so hard to lose someone that close to you. Not knowing what your hope for your dead loved one is, I thought I would share mine with you! I hold out for what the Bible says about the Resurrection. Which there are some great scriptures that help you to see how you can look to the Future to see your brother again right here on the Earth. I know that might sound strange to some, because they think that everybody goes to heaven pretty much. But the Bible describes "the wicked being destroyed and the righteous and the meek inheriting the Earth and living Forever on it." You can read about that in (Psalms chapter 37) I would pay particular attention to (paragraphs 9 ~ 11, 29 + 33.) But I would suggest you read the whole chapter.
There's also some fine scriptures about the Resurrection in (John5:25~30.,; Acts 24:15)
Also; read about Lazarus Resurrection in (John chapter 11 starting in paragraph 11 and going through 44.) Awesome Story, shows great love on Jesus's part.
Finally; I would read (1st Corinthians 15:17 through 26) and I would also read the reference scriptures (Acts 26:23 and Colossians 1:18) there is so much to learn about this topic. If you would like to learn more, I would go to jw.org and put in the search bar "Resurrection." There will be a lot of Articles you can read about it their,..there will be stories and experiences, that I'm sure you could relate too. I hope that you will find some joy and some peace in what you find there and from these Bible scriptures. Sincerely Tammie💞
Awww, sorry for your loss, but I'm glad you have good memories...

Nothing like singing this at the top of your lungs with friends at the end of a great night
I cannot wait for great nights out again!
Off-key, at that!!!
This song must be played at maximum volume - every. single. time.
Loud!
Very, very LOUD!!!!!
Must be..
And sung loudly!
And you're not sitting!
I love how diverse the comments are. Multiple generations have spoken, "Livin' on a Prayer" is a straight BANGER! The chorus, the wailing guitar hook, the key change... It's got everything.
Twisted Sister, "We're Not Gonna Take It", Guns and Roses, "Sweet Child of Mine".
I love the way y’all react to the music. I am 61 and I really like your show. There is a song I would love to see your reaction to.Its called funky town.I think it came out in 1980.
👍🏼Sweet Child of Mine
November Rain is a must!!
My dad was friends with the lead singer of Twisted Sister in high school!!
I love that he takes this so seriously, focuses on the music, and never makes fun of the fashion or hair.
I love that Jon Bon Jovi married his wife in 1989 & are still married to each other 31 years later.
LL Cool J has been with his wife since the 80's too.
You don't see a lot of musicians with long marriages.
💜 now I want to start a list of them out of curiosity. Lol
I was about to comment on his marriage!!
Duran Duran’s Simon Le Bon and his wife haven been married since 1985 ❤️
both LL & Jon could be vampires they look amazing. Maybe there’s a connection. 😍
Except LL has gay tendencies
1:45 - the impact of being Jovied.
yessss!😂
Every girl that grew up in the 80’s was! 😂
This was the best part of the concert I went to about 20 years back.. All the middle age ladies going back to teenage fangirl status, it was amazing
I seen this comment before 1:45 and scrolled back up to comment and YES! Lol he started it over.
This comment! Lol!
I was actually at the concert where they filmed this. Awesome to see this young man enjoy the music from different generations!
You have so much energy
I am so loving that you love Bon Jovi now you need to listen to Guns n Roses “Welcome to the Jungle”
He’s a very good person too. He is still married to his high school sweetheart. They live in the New Jersey town they grew up in and send their children to public school. They give a lot to the poor.
You made this 60 year old lady’s day! It’s fun to see your reactions!

The great Jon Bon Jovi. This song was an 80's anthem, and is still a great song today.
It gives me chills
BON JOVI'S SLIPPERY WHEN WET IS ONE OF THE BEST ALBUMS.

Thank you for making me laugh out loud. Not something that happens much these days, but your reaction to “Tommy used to work on the docks” is priceless.
If you've never been an arena with everyone singing the chorus of this song you haven't lived. It's great. It's always been great.
Deff it was great
Seen them. You are damm right!
I've seen them 6 times and they are the best rock band live, Jon bon Govi's voice is amazing x
I have! Twice! You're right!
8 times!
This young man will never be the same, he is hooked on classic Rock and Roll. The music was great, and we loved, Peace not War.
Feel the power of the 80's music. No autotune BS, over-loudness properly mixed and sounded better live !
Sssooo....Black woman in Denver from the 80's here...grew up LOVING ALL OF THIS....Try ANY of these 'Tears for Fears: Shout', U2 'Sunday Bloody Sunday, Live @ Red Rocks, Co', Eclipse, Heart, The Hotels, ANYTHING Journey, ANYTHING Bowie, Nine Inch Nails. Try Devo or Weird Al Janckovich(sp?) for laughs. I just love your openness to the world and adore all of y'all! God Bless and 'Lets gettit!'
Weird Al is the best parody singer
This is my idea of an anthem song. Get big crowds and have them belt out this song. It sounds so amazing listening to people from different walks of life singing the lyrics to this. We are all in the slum together. We can make it together with compromise, listening and faith and hope in humanity
Amen!!

My theme song!!
"Tommy used to work on the docks..." You're no good after that... 😆 He's sold! I got the same feeling when it first came out.
If you ever heard of 'hair bands' from the 80s, now you see why they were called that. Listen also to Bon Jovi's You Give Love A Bad Name, Wanted Dead or Alive, or It's My Life.
I adore this young man. Love his intense focus on the songs. He really hears and feels the music. I hope we get to see where his future career takes him.

He’s been with his high school sweetheart to this day and always has shown her all his love other then being a caring big hearted person.
He's cheated on her multiple times. Don't hold him out to be a Saint. Nice guy, yes. But not anymore then that.
@@medcop2001 really I have not heard that. I can’t believe it...wow. Every one of my friends know my number one pet peeve is CHEATING. There is NO reason for it. Ty for that information. 👍
@@67whitestang33 You're welcome. I've come to see that he's quite the petty individual. He's done several interviews over the last several years since Richie left and has been very disingenuous about it. He makes nasty comments about Richie all the time. Richie always takes the high road. Jon's made snide comments about Heather's problems with alcohol, while Richie just wished Jon's daughter Stephanie well when she OD'd on heroin. I'm not sure why he feels the need to belittle Richie all the time. I hate to break it to Jon, but those albums after Richie left are garbage 🗑. Jon's voice is going. It's a shame he's acting like this.
@@medcop2001 Bon Jovi broke up with his high school sweetheart, dated Diane Lane, slept around like a rock star does. Then, decided he wanted to be with/ marry his wife/h.s. sweetheart, Dorothy forever.
@@ashleyj4158 He cheated on her. You want to believe the PR lies, that's fine. I was around when it was all going down. All of the ugliness that played out way back when, not this revisionist history he wants to sell the world. Just like what went down with Alec and how he's been doing Richie dirty. He acts like he's this perfect Saint who's been this benevolent savior for his band mates when in truth he's really a dictator who was pissed off and jealous that Richie was getting attention from famous women who were higher up the star ladder than Diane Lane. He's a failed actor who wanted to be a bigger star than he was. Being a musical powerhouse wasn't enough. When grunge hit the scene he wanted to become Brando and wasn't talented enough. A couple of bit parts went to his head like he was Brando tho. His ego is much larger than his actual talent. Truth be told that if Richie wasn't a part of Bon Jovi, he wouldn't have hit it as big as he did. Having the drive is good, but you need talent, the songs and the right sound. Richie helped put Bon Jovi on the map. He brought soul to the group along with those great songs he wrote with John. He's been paid very well over the years for his success, there's no reason to rewrite history.
I'm in my 50s so I grew up with Bon Jovi music. This is the best stuff I've ever listened to!! Please play more 😊
You’re acting exactly like we all did when we heard this song for the first time as kids, about your age back when it came out first time around. Love it!
