*For the people who are comparing this with the Indian version -*
In India, Maruti Suzuki makes car with poor safety to decrease their price. The Swift sold in India which is rated 2 stars for safety starts at ₹7,00,000 and ends at ₹12,00,000 while the one sold in Japan is rated 5 stars for safety starts at ₹14,00,000.
They do it because 95% of vehicles sold in India costs less than ₹14,00,000. If they'll release the one with good safety in India, it would barely sell due to the buying power of Indian customers.
Maruti Suzuki is not the only one who cuts the cost, Kia and Hyundai also do it. You can find the frame structures (of both global and Indian) of Kia Seltos online.

R u joking? Swift in India starts at 6 lakh exshowroom price and ends at somewhere 8.5 lakh. And you saying if they make it’s structure strong it’s cost will increase. Have you ever heard the brand name Tata cars. They don’t have a single car less than 4 star rating. And what you said that in India mostly cars are under 14 lakhs because of purchasing power on Indians. What you know about Indian car market? Where you get this data what is your source that says 14 lakh price bracket. Is it trust me bro? Just don’t comment anything just to be judged like a expert. Wait and watch INDIA will become the world leader. And back bitchers like you keep bitching…

Oh sorry, I forgot to cross check the Indian pricing of the Indian version of the car before commenting. 😅
Coming to the ₹1.4M thing, the source of that information is CNBC, they mentioned the fact that the Indian automobile market is dominated by two wheelers. And out of the cars which are sold, 95% of the cars sold cost less than $20000, I just converted the currency to INR. The data is of the time when Ford ceased their manufacturing in India.
      Have a great day!

And yes other cars also have crumple zones. Thats why they are safer than Maruti cars. Its already proven by Global NCAP. Maruti and many other cars are rated as unstable which means that the crumple zones will not save you if the speed is higher than 64 kmph. Thats why so many people who drive these cars die in accident. Whereas most of the Tata cars are rated as stable body shell which means that they can save you at impact higher than 64kmph speed.

Auch finde ich, dass bei den Fahrzeugen bei einem heftigen Frontalcrash immer alle Airbags (Window etc.) ausgelöst werden müssen. Auch muss man endlich mal die Kopfstützen verbessern.
