Good history of Dean and Cass . Still think Dean character being force to apologize for being who he is and his reaction to his mom being murdered is what relly turn me off. Makes me think would you go say sorry to the one who knew info to your mom being murdered and would you say sorry because you hurt because your mom was murdered. Dean is not apologising because he was sad about Mary he's appologizing coz he grieves by getting angry and lashing out and blaming cas when he had nothing to do with Mary's death or rowena's, Dean literally in the beginning of the episode "Absence" after he was on the phone with Cas and cas told him about the snake before he knew Mary died he said it's just a snake then at the end of the episode he was like you're dead to me coz you didn't tell us about the snake 😐. dean saying that cas knew there was something wrong with the kid and he didn't even tell us, uh excuse me ,Dean but in 14x15 cas expressed to dean his worries about jack losing his soul even before he saw the snake thing and urged him to talk to jack and dean was like why are you telling me I don't know the first thing about souls I didn't handle things well when Sam was soulless, cas literally had to insist and pushed dean to take jack to see Donatello so naturally when cas saw the snake thing at the end of that same episode he didn't go tell dean again, coz dean would be like it's just a snake and it freaked me out anyway, instead he tried to contact god to help with jack's soul since god is the expert when it comes to souls. Also dean knew that there were risks with jack he even express his worries to Sam and made jack stay behind and not go on hunts till they are sure he's okay, and he sent him on a beer run instead, Donatello already warned him, dean saw jack burn his soul to kill Michael I don't know what is he bitching about. I don't see how this is cas' fault in anyway directly or indirectly, how would Cas telling him about the snake change things? Nick would've still tried to bring Lucifer back, jack would've still rushed to stop it, coz jack and Mary being at that house alone wasn't planned anyway, it wasn't like a hunting trip or anything it was all a series of unfortunate events that led to Mary's death that couldn't have been avoided unless you knew it was going to happen beforehand , no one could've predicted that not dean not cas not mary, I sure didn't, I just think dean is doing what he does best here dealing with grieve using anger and directing this anger at someone, like the therapist said to him back in 13x04 you're angry and you're aiming it at everyone in your life. Obviously I get dean's sorrow and grief losing his mother again, but it's not cas' fault and blaming him wasn't fair. He didn't wanna direct the anger at Sam so he directed at cas, even tho that Sam was the one who made the decision to bring back jack at the extend of him possibly losing his soul and Sam was the one who embraced jack from the beginning in season 13 when dean had his reservations. Dean knew jack was dangerous since 13x01 coz he's a baby with too much powers he can't control, soul or no soul jack always had problems controlling his powers specially when he was emotional, his emotions always triggered his powers even when he had a soul. Not to mention that cas is the reason that Mary lasted that long, she was gonna die in season 12 if it wasn't for cas killing Billy and how did Dean repay him? Did he thank him? Oh right he got mad at him for killing Billy and saving his mom and stopped talking to him, nice Dean. Also in typical dean's fashion, in 15x03 he blamed cas for rowena's death even though belfegor was going to suck all the souls inside him be like a god then they will be dealing with two gods instead of one, and cas of all people knows about powering up with souls and what it does to you coz season 6 and 7, he tried that and he had good intentions and he was corrupted by the power so much that he killed nearly half of the angels and some humans, imagine someone who's already evil having that powers, so it's not fair for Dean to say you should have stuck to the plan, coz rowena would be alive, no, he made the right call, Dean, as much as it hurt cas to burn off his son's body, it was the right call, and Rowena sacrificed herself willingly. Dean always grieves using anger and blame instead of talking about his feelings, we've seen it so many times, his dad died he hits his car, Kevin dies he breaks lamps in the bunker, Mark of cain makes him beat cas up, he feels bad about it so he destroys the hotel room and so on. Dean blames cas for loads of crap he didn't do when he's angry, and cas always takes it coz he loves Dean and he has low self esteem and think everything is his fault anyone specially when everyone keeps telling him that, but enough is enough, I was so proud of him for leaving, coz Dean needed to know that if he didn't deal with his anger issues he could lose the people he loves, he needs to deal with grief in more healthy ways than anger or drinking, don't feel bad for Dean, it's actually healthy for him to acknowledge his issues and work on them coz acknowledging the problem is the first step to fixing it, and that wouldn't have happened if it wasn't for cas. He makes him a better person.
