    Thank you for the video! It was very helpful. I can't wait to watch the rest of the series. I wanted to ask if you know anything about master's degrees. I am currently studying English Literature in my home country and I would be really interested in some of Trinity's postgraduate programs, especially about translation. I am planning on applying for 2022. Do you know if it's hard to get in or do you have any advice maybe? :)

    So I was wondering how the whole language situation is handled for EU students? I'm from Germany and I read through the bologna document thing and it says that a language certificate (cambridge, ielts that stuff) is required or a certain grade (which I have) however I read a bunch of conflicting information on how that is handled (some say you need the certificate and some say the grades are enough). I want to make sure that I don't do a 200€ certificate and end up not needing it to get in. I def don't have 200€ that I can just spend on a certificate unless I actually have to soo

      Okay, so I heard from Gaia (in this video) that she took the Cambridge proficiency test with her school because she did the European baccalaureate, and it was paid for by her school. She isn't sure if she was asked for that document. She also did English at school. I'm not sure how else to check this information other than to recommend you to email someone at Trinity about it to know for sure.

    Hi, I'm an EU student and I've started my application to Trinity. I've been trying to figure out how/if I need to add a personal essay and or references (as you do have to do all of those for UCAS applications) but I can't seem to find it anywhere.. The video clip was a bit short but basically the EU girls said you only have to submit your grades, right? Does anyone know why that is?

    • @QueenofQuirk
      @QueenofQuirk  Před 3 lety +6

      Hi! Sorry it wasn’t clear in this video, since it is included with information on the American process, but unlike the American process, you don’t need any personal essays or anything like that for the European application! All you have to do is set up a CAO account, and whatever exams you do in your country, the grades from that have to translate to ‘cao points,’ and however many points you get has to correspond to whatever course you want to do in trinity. Go to trinity’s website (look up EU student applications) or CAO.is for more info

      Hello, I’ll be applying in the next few months, and when I asked this question, I was told that in your application, you give your reference’s email, and Trinity will email them a template to fill out. They have an option for references to write their own recommendations, and not use the template, but there are specific requirements for that. (:

      Morgan Fields hey, thank you so much for answering my question!! I had emailed the international admissions office a while a go, and they still have yet to get back to me, so thanks so much for the help! :))... should I just tell my reference that they’ll email them a template or give them an option to write their own personalized one, or should I simply just mention that they’ll email them a template?

    • @QueenofQuirk
      @QueenofQuirk  Před 3 lety +1

      Hi sorry for the delayed reply. I am not sure if you have to send your grades from previous years, I think it may just be your grades or predicted grades for your final exams. I am not sure though, so I’d suggest researching a bit more around their website to be sure. And I’m not sure what you mean by join documents, but if this is in relation to putting together transcripts from previous exams, if you need to send them at all, I’d say you can put them together via scanning on a printer, usually the computer combines them into one document that way. Hope this was helpful in some way!
