So this is kinda a crossover but kinda not =) LOL. The plot is 100% based on season 3 of A2A, but since it's connected with LoM i used some scenes and voiceovers from both shows. This is basically a tribute to Gene, his mission and his world.

If there is a better ending to a series , I’ve yet to see it , both Life and Ashes are pure class, and the ending, the reason behind Gene Hunt , is the best ending to a TV programme ever written

I feel like I've missed all the fun, but I watched it now and HOW BRILLIANT IS A2A??? how brilliant is this cast and HOW BRILLIANT ARE YOUR VIDS OF THEM??? I legit just shed so many tears... oh gods... it hasn't even been a day since I finished it and I MISS IT ALREADY SO MUCH!! bless you for having made videos, I'm going to be spending days watching them!!

This was deeply beautiful and gut-wrenchingly sad, suddenly all the LoM and A2A feelings came floodingly back. I guess now I'll want to watch both series all over again, it really does never get old. To the guv! :)
I just can't get over how beautiful this video is. You've made the heart of these shows so visible. This video highlights everything that I want Lazarus to be - I only hope my hopes aren't too high. Because this is what it SHOULD be. Fingers crossed that Lazarus is Gene's story, told the way he deserves.

I have to confess that I had quite a crush on Annie (LoM) at the time. She just seemed so... nice.

I watched the final episode yesterday and it broke my heart. I don't have anything else to say about it. besides: how is it that every time I watch something creepy-awesome-heartwrenching, it is ALWAYS because of you?

This is beautiful, I love the side of Gene you showed here. You know, I started watching your videos for your Sherlock stuff. Then I realised you made lovely videos for Harry Potter and Doctor Who, and now Life on Mars and Ashes to Ashes, just everything that I love! Perfect :)
Spoiler Warning:
The mysterious man with the blood on his face is gene when he was young, turns out that gene was shot in the head, and buried underneath the scarecrow. Ray hung himself and committed suicide, sharon was stabbed in the chest, chris was shot around 3 times, Alex was shot in the head, So apparently they are all dead, and they all went back in time. The stars were also seen because ray, Chris, and shaz are forgetting they are dead, gene is the inbetween angel who is trying to bring officers to heaven, whilst jim is trying to pull them to hell, the lift was the lift to hell, that’s why a scream was heard when it opened.
Kat...since you make such beautiful vids on sherlock and Doctor who, favorites of mine, I figured we might have the same taste in TV, so I gave LOM and A2A a try. I am still mesmerized by the thought of those shows. Gene Hunt is a revelation to me. A wonderful character that may have supplanted John Locke as my all time favorite Fictional TV character. Thanks for being the reason I was turned on the these great shows!!
