I'm currently so obsessed with Ashes to Ashes that it's great being reminded how many insanely wonderful moments there were in Life on Mars. And for those of you who haven't seen both, it's one amazing continuum leading to a conclusion you will NOT be able to stop thinking about, and finding more and more layers when you look back.

How is this show already twelve years old though. It's funny, I still remember like it was yesterday watching each episode and getting annoyed at the thought of having to wait a whole week for the next one.
I still need to watch Ashes to Ashes - because I went completely berserk when I heard it had no Sam Tyler in it. But you've convinced me. Obviously they're not disregarding LoM or Tyler's influence. And you've made me cry.
Yep. Still watching these vids in 2018. Life on Mars is still amazing to this day... So is Ashes to Ashes.

While I loved the Alex & Gene will they won't they relationship, I found Sam & Gene's friction laded bromance more engaging
