Amy is great addition to show, she cant' leave. And Mayim is the only actor on show with an actual real world knowledge of science and biology, she helps keep it real and funny.
I love how Amy reminds Sheldon what to do when he has a guest that is upset.
I love that Amy just declared herself to be 'besties' with Penny a few episodes back, and then they really do become close...it makes it even funnier because Amy is still in a relationship with Sheldon and highly intellectual

amy's one of my favorite characters. I like how she's like sheldon but she's not as condescending as him. proven by penny being her 'bestie'.
I love the fact that the “socially awkward” characters are the ones who knew what to do, where to be, and when; while the regular characters were focused in entirely on themselves

I just love the fact that even at that moment when penny is supposed to be all sad and all . She agreed to help amy with the experiment .
I like how Amy is extremely sensitive about social situations in such a rational manner.

Sometimes Sheldon reminds me of my friends. When he said the tea wasn't optional it reminded me of when I didn't want any more popcorn she just tossed a handful at me and said "Eat bitch"
