yeah i linked the wrong ea account to my playstation, after unlinking it while i was drunk, woke up and found out what i had done, i lost all my cards for fifa and every other game, i lost my cosmetics

this only works if you verified your email, i never did and the email is so old i cannot recover it at all, there is no way, my consoles are stuck on an old user name and my pc is on a newer one
I have the same issue. Now I just want to create a new account so I can play the games I paid for, but I cannot even unlink the old account from my psn since I can’t log into my ea account. Whoever came up with this crap needs to be lobotomized

I read this as a way to unlink my EA account from the PlayStation website, not the other way around. I have the same issue as everyone else; I no longer have my verification information i.e., email and phone number. This is what they ask directly from the chat:

I made my EA account in 2012, and I'm also in the military, so I move every 4 years or so. There's no way I can remember a purchase if I even made one, or the credit card I used back then, or billing address, or phone number. And if you get anything wrong, they deny you and you have to start ANOTHER chat just to have another go at it. EA HELP and this entire system is such a piece of shit. All I want to do is play NHL24.

My situation is that I made ONE simple mistake while trying to link accounts to one EA account in their LIMITED TIME cross progression event for Apex (Which is a normal feature all games should have) turns out that one mistake was as simple as not being on the right account when merging to my PlayStation which in turn locked me from unlinking it for 6 FUCKING MONTHS. Not only is EA locking a simple game feature for only a month, but they're also punishing my simple misclick or blind naivety with my accounts never having the option to merge, ever again. I hate EA and how they can siphon billions of dollars out of people but not make a single right decision in their companies' lifetime.

I dont quite understand, I have my ps4/ps5 account under aother email do to it being made by my parents, now I have a pc but an account under my own email adress and I want to move my ps4 account to the same email i have on pc so I can merge it. will this be the sae

its not a limited thing for apex its just slow going to other people for cross progression its permanent once its finally done
I have a similar issue to what your saying:
I wanted to verify my psn account connected to my EA account to verify for the gifting system and on my primary email I wasn't getting any verifications codes so I unlinked my psn account from the EA. Mind you before I unliked it I ended up getting a code.
After I unlinked it and linked it to a new EA account my Apex game CRASHED on the playstation screen so I restart it and my account level was still showing my and badges but everything els was gone The heirlooms, Trackers all the skins I PAYED FOR and all the apex characters I had unlocked. And the Apex coins, Crafting Metals, were just showing -9999 on the screen.
After that I tried linking it back to the original EA account but it just says "you can unlink your account after April 2, 2024. I contacted them about this and they couldn't help me AT ALL ya'll like.😭 I also have proof of the EA conversations I had with the EA help team.
They also told me to reach out to the EA answers HQ, but they wasn't much help either. They also told me that when you unlink your PSN from EA your progression is "permanently deleted" and that I should start my career over again. when I tell you I wanted to punch that Bxtch in her face. LET ME STOP LMFAOO 😂 But DO NOT!!! Unlink your PSN Account from your EA account it's not worth it to who ever is thinking about it.

My problem is I’ve just come back to ps4 as I’ve been on pc since 2020 and so I never linked my EA account. But it says a account has already been link to my Sony account. I’ve only ever had one EA account. What do I do then?

@@Kxpu Talk with the EA support bot. Everything should be sorted out. But be careful because I lost all my progress on one of my games because I linked something to the wrong email.

Dont ever unlink your EA acc unless you dont want anything transferred over and to actually play the game.

Dont unlink you account from xbox/playstation because when you link it again to another email your game will be stuck you wont have access to any of your lobby menus and EA doesn’t do anything to resolve this issue its been months that I’ve been trying :(

Im gonna have to create a whole otber Playstation account just to play college football because EA is a dumbass company its not my fault that my iphone got stolen and its the only apple device that had my icloud email on it so now i can not get back into that email because it keeps sending verification codes to my stolen phone/ email
