I hope you enjoy this video! The video moves pretty fast - I had over 3 hours of footage to condense into a manageable video! Thanks for watching!
And I loved the bloopers! : )
Most crafting enthusiasts binge watch crafting videos so we don't mind long/mega diy videos 😊
@@B4andAftersrrttttttttttttttttttttttttt 3:04
Too fast for me, sorry...
I have the worse time with glazing points
I LOVE listening to podcasts while working in my kitchen. I got hooked on true crime, just before the Murdock trial, and have been watching or listening to a variety of murders solved years later, etc. I especially enjoy the ones where security cameras on homes and businesses, pick up evidence that is later used to convict a suspect. I can't understand how so many spouses think they can get away with murdering their spouse!! I told my husband, if anything happened to him, and police searched my phone, they would likely have a lot of questions regarding all the murder cases I watched!;LOL!!
Loved your makeovers!!
Omgoodness, I am chuckling as I read your comment!! My hubby has said the same about me! 😂😂
I love watching True Crime, Mr Bailey, and so many more!! Just love them, bedtime stories!!
Leaves look nice on shade
They added just enough decoration :)
My old friend had a home full of antiques and she to was obsessed with lamps she had over two hundred and used those little tiny bulbs in them and kept them on all the time her home was so warm and inviting,
Oh, that sounds amazing! I love little lamps. You are right - they make the rooms so cozy!😊
Plant stand is adorable
Isn't it? My hubby got it for free!
A ceramic bird would look nice in the bird cage
Omgoodness I love that idea! I will look for one when I go out thrifting!
They got some cool stained glass looking birds on temu that look cure in it
@laureltobiason793 I was thinking moss in the bottom with a ceramic bird in the cage. 😊
We are a front door family and I like silver tarnished, maybe do a flicker candle and something for summer in the bird cage
Yay for front door people! That's a great idea for the birdcage! Thanks for watching 😊
Yes! I watch "48 Hours" all the time! Love me a good murder mystery!
Me too!😊
The scoop charger was my fave ❤
Isn’t it the cutest? So glad you enjoyed the projects 😊
Flipping thru the channels, found you. My lucky day. You are so my treasure. I love second hand and many times they need work. Your ideas are great. All I'll have to do is get into my hidden bens of treasures. So many new projects for home decor. Thank you.
Well I am so glad you found our channel! I hope to bring inspiration to keep our hands busy making our homes cozy and unique with thrifted pieces!😊
We are back door people. All our family, friends, and neighbors all come to that door. If someone does come to that door we know it isn't anyone who knows us. I love all your redo's. Now they have a new life. So nice. 😊😊❤❤❤
Yay for the back door! Thanks for the kind words about our redo’s😊
I didn’t know you redone the mirror! Make it more beautiful! Luv the bird cage! 🤗💕
I'm thrilled witht he mirror and I can't wait to show everyone how I am going to use it in our bedroom. That video will come soon!
@@ReinventedDelaware Good morning! Can’t wait! 🤗
Blue flower with bird cage and hang and or side table would both be beautiful 🤩
I think so too! 😊 Thank you!
I do the same exact thing!
I listened to podcasts of 20/20. 48 hours. Dateline.
I love it! I feel like we could be fast friends. I’m hoping to start my own channel soon.
I founded a huge thrift store so I have a lot to work with! 18:48

Wow!! All the way from Australia!! Thanks for watching! And I appreciate your words about the speed of the video. When my videos are too long, it can take days (no kidding!) to load. This 30 minute video took 1/2 of one day to upload! Maybe it is because we live in the country. Anyway, I appreciate you watching. Many of our videos are in real time. Hope you can watch some others. Here is one many people have enjoyed: czcams.com/video/nZ3YIchioQc/video.html
The "phone holder " you made was called a Sugar Scoop Sconce and was sold by " Home Interiors" back in the late '80's early 90's. I LOVED the Lamp!! So cute!
Thanks for the info! I remember Home Interiors - They were huge back in the day! I'm loving the little lamp too!
I also have the little wooden scoop from Home Interiors. I need to dig it out!
Go get it and give it a refresh! You'll have fun doing it!
I have one still hanging, beside the dogwood picture. Love my old Home Interior!
Definitely backdoor folks here😊
Woohoo for the back door😊
I just love the tiny lamp and the scoop that you made into a phone holder. Super cool.
I love the plant in the cage and you could even use a piece of driftwood too with a little bird perched in there.
That's a great idea. Spring is coming so I need to refresh that little cage!
When I lived at home with my parents in the country, the back door was used all the time, all you project came out great!
Yay for all of us back door people! Glad you enjoyed the projects and thanks for watching 🥰
My husband and I LOVE dateline. It's pitiful when your life revolves around dateline...lol. beautiful upcycling. Thanks for the ideas.
Hahaha! Then I’m pitiful too!😂😂
The wooden candle scoop is from the 80’s. I still have mine it’s a sconce from Home Interiors. I use to sell Home Interiors. Great video.
Thanks for passing on the info! So glad you enjoyed watching 😊
The little bird cage would look amazing with a solar light in it hanging in one of your trees.
What a great idea! Thank you 😊
We are definitely backdoor people. The only people who come to the front door are salesman LOL
Haha! And for us - the Walmart Grocery Drop off!
@@ReinventedDelawareoo
Definitely backdoor people and I love my silver, brass, and even copper tarnished. Love the patina! I'm not a shiny blingy type of person.
Loved the idea for the scoop.
Yay for all of us back door people!! Thanks for watching 😊
A cylinder shaped terrarium would look great in the birdcage. It would look like a miniature arboretum/greenhouse. 👍
Omgoodness that’s a brilliant idea! Those cylinder shaped glass vases are easy to find. I should look for one! Thanks😊
@@ReinventedDelaware
You’re very welcome. 😊
I just love silver and Love copper.
Me too - really I love all the metals😊
Love the hydrangea in the birdcage...
Thanks! So glad you liked it. Happy Spring 😊
Back door into the kitchen ❤
That’s the best kind of back door!😃
I found the SAME plant cart at an estate sale. Cleaned it and painted it a sky blue. It’s in a consignment shop for sale. 😊
It sounds beautiful! I’m sure you will sell it soon😊
For most of my life, Everyone has always used the back door. For the Last seven years everyone uses the front door. Never thought about it until you mentioned it. You are a very clever lady. The projects that you have shown us have incorporated many different techniques. Nice to have some different approaches. I love everything you have done. I can’t believe that you are a senior citizen, you look like you are in your 40 ‘s. Cheers from Australia.❤️
Omgoodness you are so kind! I'm getting ready to celebrate my 60th birthday next week! Thanks for you kind words about our projects! I'm so glad you enjoy them! 😊

Front door here. But then I have large dogs which affects how visitors are received. The back of the house is fenced with a lock upon the gate to prevent unhappy incidents.
I did same thing with flower
Looks good
I'm still deciding what to do with it. It's so cute :)
I had the exact same little cart I had bought years ago from a company called LTD. I gave mine to my big sister. After seeing yours updated, I kind of miss mine. Love your work.
That's so cool that you had the same cart! It's a cute little piece for plants in our breezeway. I'm ready to put new spring plants on it!
We are a front door kind of people. Those; who come into our house is always welcomed in thru the front door, just like my husband and I do. Don't get me wrong we do have a back porch but it is a lot longer to go there then in the front. God Bless and have a good day.
That's so cool that you and your hubby use the front door! Thanks for sharing your experience 😊 Have a blessed day!
Make a hanging lamp with the bird cage. Love your lamp . Good ideas!
Omgoodness that’s a brilliant idea!!
Love the bird cage!
Maybe a live plant and hang in a summer room it in or bathroom.
It’s beautiful with the hydrangea in it too
Great idea!! Thanks for sharing 😊
I have a bird cage like this. I put flowers in it with some fairy lights that use batteries and hung it up on my porch . It looks great . Love your great videos .
That's a great idea! Thanks for watching!😊
Good idea
Thank you!
God bless you, lady.❤
Well thank you! God bless you too 🥰
Those scoops were also popular in the 1950's when Early American decor was in style.
Yes, it was! My mom decorated in Early American. In some ways, that style turned into country style. Thanks for watching!😊
I love the lamp and oval mirror
Stay tuned for a video about that oval mirror soon - I did a cool thing with it!
Absolutely backdoor. Love what you do.
Thanks so much! Yay for back door people!😊
I have a collection of birdcages in my laundry room along with bird prints. Some have birds, some have nests and one has a little moose swinging on a swing
The one with the moose sounds adorable!!🫎
Back door people for sure! Love all your ideas! ❤
Woohoo for the back door!😊
Awesome repurposing. Love the wind chimes throughout my ranch, too. Along with ya pots handing from trees for birds nests. Thank you for sharing.
Love the idea of hanging pots - I would love that and so would our birds😊
I have that exact little bird cage. It has a little bit of brown moss in the bottom, a little birds nest and a bird. Also has a couple of flowers in it. It is hanging from a chain on my patio at my apartment next to a hanging bird feeder
That sounds adorable!
The lamp is absolutely stunning!
She’s a cutie! Thanks!😊
First time here and I enjoyed this. I would decorate bird cage for every holiday.
That's a great idea! Thanks for sharing 😊
The mirror is beautiful!
Thanks! I think so too😊
I love you left the end in. Today is going to be a great day!
Yes, yes and yes! Today is going to be a great day! Hope yours is great today😊
@@ReinventedDelaware It was amazing. Thank you
30:29. Today is going to be a great day. Period. The end! Thanks for sharing your great day!
Amen and amen! Today is going to be a great day!
I just found you today. The flips were great, but honestly, the very best part was at the end when you were singing and giving yourself a pep talk. “Today we’re going to talk about….what are we going to talk about?!” ❤️❤️ I just loved that but at the end. I’m subscribed now.
So glad you enjoyed the last part! Talking to a camera in my garage is weird! I might as well laugh about it😂😂
This little video is ABSOLUTELY REFRESHING!!!! Iam soooooo happy i ran accross this, AND you!!!!! What fun!!! I loved ALL of your crafts AND every part of your video including the backgroud music!!! Il DEF be watching you MORE!!!!! 🥰🌼🥰🌼🥰🌼
Glad you enjoyed it! Your kind words have made my day!😊
Am a back door, people 😊,I enjoy your video nicely done 😊
Woohoo for the back door! Thank you😊
We’re also back door people. Back door guests are the best
Woohoo for back door peeps!😊
i m about to put transfers on a lamp shade. I'm so glad i watched this.
Have fun with the transfer! And thanks for watching 😊
These are all awesome Cindy! My fave is the phone holder/charger...brilliant! And I'm a back door gal. I park at the back of my driveway and am too lazy to walk back to the front 😂
You lazy??? I doubt that! Thanks for watching Denise🥰
Great upcycling! I too love true crime shows!!!
We are crime podcast kindred spirits!😂
I love the leaves on the shade
Me too!😊
The bird cage would look really cute if u put small plants with a fairy house or a fairy swinging
Use string of hearts or pearls to hang down
Spray paint it pale pink and hang it from a tree
Now that sounds like something my granddaughter would love! Thanks for sharing😊
I loved the bloopers. OMGoodness! It took me so many takes to send a sample video for a teaching job. Glad I am in good company as they used to say. I appreciate the time and energy you put into your videos.
It’s not easy getting in front of a camera! Kudos to you for doing in spite of the struggles😊
One of my projects that is much admired and even copied on my street are my house numbers. I salvaged a discarded picture frame. It is plastic that was molded in the shape of very intricate and ornate wrought iron. I cut a thin sheet of wood to fit inside the frame and purchased house numbers to attach to the wood. I painted the frame and the wood in colors to coordinate with my home exterior. It looks like very expensive custom work, but it was mostly FREE (giggle). Anyone can easily use the idea. Just keep an eye out for an inexpensive and particularly beautiful frame that compliments the architecture of your home. Remember when you choose your color scheme that the color of the house numbers needs to contrast with their background.
This sounds like a great project! Thanks for sharing 😊
I love how you upcycled your lamp shade. I’m going to do mine as similar as I can . Your upcycled ideas are very good . Yes I will be driving and listening to all sorts of crime podcasts. Then I ask myself, why did you watch that because they upset me. Your bloopers are funny! “people that might be looking at us!”🤣
Thanks for your kind words! I’m so glad you enjoy our projects 😊 Have fun giving your lamp a makeover! Stay tuned for my next makeovers video- I’m sharing more bloopers for some laughter 😂
You inspire me. Sometimes I like silver tarnished and then other times shiny. It kind of depends on the piece.
I agree about the tarnished look! Thanks for watching and I’m so glad you are inspired 😊😊
I love what you create !!! I too love to listen to true crime podcasts
Thank you! So glad you enjoy the projects😊
Hi, I just found you on your last Video and loving your channel. You are so sweet and adorable. You have such great ideas. I have a bird cage like yours and what I did with mine is put on a wicker riser. I put a bird nest in it with a bird then decorated the top with greenery and flowers. I get a lot of compliments on it. I have it sitting on the floor by my fireplace. Just a idea of what you could do. This video was great. Thanks for sharing. We need to get your following up because you are great. Looking forward to the next one. Hugs
Omgoodness Mary this just made my day! Thanks for all of your sweet words! Your birdcage sounds adorable! You have great ideas too!😊
Put a nest inside it with Robin Eggs.
I love the speckled eggs in a beautiful nest
Such a cute idea! Thank you 😊
I wanted to share what I thought when you asked "any ideas for this little bird cage"? It's a cut cage, an if you can hang it from an old bird cage bracket near the window..wow. Try using a live "string of pearls" plant inside the cage and hang it. "The strands of green pearls will gracefully hang down at different lengths. (Additional thought) Perhaps add a fishing line with a 3 inch drop from the center bottom with a cut crystal to shimmer its colored prisms on the walls from a beam of sunlight.
I just bumped into your video today.. I'm very impressed. I can't wait to get back to see more. you're doing great. 🙂
Loving your idea about the string of pearls! And hanging it by a fishing line is brilliant!! Thanks for watching!😊
Mostly the front door, love your ideas❤
Woohoo for front door peeps! Thanks for your kind words😊
Don’t fill the bird cage! The iron work is so cool! Keep is simple! Try a mushroom bird in its nest, or on a twig and greenery perch! Great SCORE!❤
It would look so cute empty! Sometimes simple is best😊
Love all your thrift store make over's, love the bird cage, as you did with the fake plant, you would not want a real plant to cause moisture on the bottom, maybe display it on the beautiful plant stand flower cart...thank you for sharing you talents
Thank you for watching! So glad you enjoyed the projects 😊
We are back door people! I am so wanting to try milk paint but haven't yet. And I have used many transfers from a few companies and I love them but have never used them on fabric. I'm thinking of starting small like bookmarks. This was a great video. I think I might put a cup and saucer in the birdcage with a little moss and a bird!
Your idea for the birdcage sounds adorable! BTW, milk paint is so easy to use and creates such an authentic vintage look - give it a try! Thanks for watching 😊
Respirator AND eye protection! Gotta protect both 😊
Great tip! Thanks for sharing 😊
I love that lamp!
Thanks! It’s a cutie!😊
love the bloopers. I say that a lot ..."it's a great day...what am I going to do?!" 😂😂
Oh, I love that saying!! Thank you for sharing!
Fantastic scoop idea!
It's working out perfectly for my podcast listening in the workshop! 😊
@@ReinventedDelaware it’s so funny-I’ve never seen this kind of scoop before and in the past week, you are the 3rd CZcamsr to upcycle one! (Yours is the best though😉). I love your ideas and look forward to watching more of your channel! Thank you!
That is so funny that we are all upcycling the same things!! Thanks for your kind words😀
I'm the same way with my projects! I'm always waiting for paint or glue to dry but not being able to just sit and wait so I have to start on something else😁
We could work well together! Happy project jumping!
Awesome remakes!! I haven’t gotten on the Padcast bandwagon yet but watch the True Crime things on CZcams all the time….
Omgoodness I never thought about watching true crime on YT. This might be my next obsession 😳😳
You work like I do - working on one thing while another is in progress. Productive and keeps me from getting bored. Loved the projects. For the birdcage - greens in the bottom with a bird nest with painted bird, and/or faux eggs, or a remote control outdoor candle to hang outside.
Omgoodness, your idea for the birdcage would be perfect on my front porch! Thank you! 😊
That lamp is adorable. I have a couple of them and now I will look for shades. Love that lamp. And your husband did a great job getting that cart free. It turned out beautifully.
@@sandravinup5102 Thanks! I'm loving the little lamp too!
love the lamp
It’s a cutie! And so useful in my kitchen 😊
I love the things you transformed, very creative. With the bird cage definitely use some greenery in it, and place it on a low riser.
Love the idea of putting it on a riser! Thanks for sharing 😊
WOW!! All your Decoration are Amazing!! All your hard work is Incredible. Thank you for charge your talent. Love your finish you singing. 😄
Thank you! My neighbor had workman in their yard and my garage door was wide open- it felt like I was on stage😂😂 such a weird feeling to talk to a camera all by myself!
I put my birdcage out front on an antique table with fake flowers and a gnome family!
That sounds adorable Nancy 🕊️
I would put battery operated candles and some greenery that hangs out of the birdcage, and hang it on a porch or in a corner of a patio, sunroom or someplace like that. Even a half bath would be nice.
Love the idea of adding a battery powered candle! Thanks😊
Both are nice
Thanks! :)
I'm glad you watch true crime stories. My coworkers think I'm off my rocker, but I love a good mystery. I try to solve the conspiracies in my head. It's addicting. I also love thrifting and making old things new!💖...I also love wind chimes❤️ This is such a great channel! You have a fun and lively presentation. Love the bloopers at the end😄
So glad you found my channel and that you enjoyed the video!😊

I like the real plant in the tiny cage
Stay tuned for our video next Wednesday- I’ll show you what I did with the birdcage and I think you will like it!
Everything looks awesome
Thank you! 😊
I love what u did with the lamp shade. I have used rub ons before but never considered using on a fabric shade. I learned something.
Glad it was helpful! I have plans to use a transfer on another fabric project so stay tuned!
Great job 👍
Thanks!
Love the lamp shade and I have the large mirror also bur mirror needs replaced. You have given me an idea about what to do with it!
Great! I hope you can get the mirror replaced so you can use it in your home. Ours is going in our bedroom along with some other unique vintage wall decor - stay tuned for our bedroom makeover reveal!
Hello. Newest follow & im so happy to have found you. Looking forward to hangout with ya'll on your podcast channel.
Thanks! We are hoping to start our podcast soon. Hubby and I have been wanting to start one for months 😊
I like the tarnished look. You things are outstanding
I love a tarnished look too. At least today! Tomorrow I might like the polished look ;)
I’ve never used any transfers except $🌳kind. I have painted on a lampshade. You do your work like I do as I generally several things at one time for the same reason you do. I’m a back door kind of person but where I live I can’t use it. I love the everything you did. I would be hanging it in a corner with a tiny bit of greenery, a nest and birds if I had it. 😅😊❤
We are project-doing-kindred-spirits! I love your idea for the birdcage! I might use it on my front porch and if I do, I will share a video here on my channel 😊
@@ReinventedDelaware fantastic
I loved your thrift flips. I too love a small lamp in the kitchen just for a nice glow. I think I would like to see the bird cage hanging. I am partial to putting a nest and a concrete looking bird in it!
I'm leaning towards looking for a ceramic or concrete birdie for it. It's probably going to hang on my front porch so stay tuned!
I like it polished
Polished silver is so pretty 😊
Front door for sure, thanks for the ideas!
Woohoo for the front door! 😊
Birdcage might look good on a riser. Enjoyed your flips.
Great idea! Thanks 😊
I love this video, everything came out beautiful! You are so sweet. The lamp and your phone holder are great ideas! Definitely back door people here! ❤️🥰
Yay for back door people! I'm so glad you enjoyed the video! 🥰
Backdoor. Not pilished. I do love to do all the things you are doing. I also have the mirror. Anything old and needs fixing is for me.
