Fun fact. The "King" in the Revenant King video is played by Jason Tarpey, the lead singer of the epic heavy metal band Eternal Champion. Ya'll should check them out as well!

They have a great sound. I can hear the vibes of 1980s US Power Metal such as Virgin Steele, Liege Lord, Jag Panzer, , Armored Saint, Vicious Rumors, or Omen. In the 1980s, Visigoth would have more recognition.

    These guys are so underrated.
Found them by chance years ago and was surprised to see they were touring even here in Germany. Went to see them live two times so far, and both times were amazing.
I'd recommend "Traitor's Gate" as a song that is a bit more on the dynamic side :)
    Anyway, great reaction!

Killer band, there are some live clips and dude has a tremendous live vocal. Traitors gate for me is stunning, and the best song to hear just how impressive a range he has.
You have to try Atlantean Kodex if you can, EPIC dont do them justice, all there stuff is amazing, new album from this year is my fav from this year.

Something interesting about the second song you chose is that the lyrics are specifically about The Witcher, a popular fantasy character from a book series. The third song is about a video game called Dark Souls, as well as the other song that appears on the same EP. They actually have a TON of songs about nerd centric characters like Highlander, Conan, etc. which is one of the main appeals of the band to me (other them just playing incredible music.)

I discovered visigoth a long time ago and I love them
Next thing you know I moved to Utah Haha. The singer has several projects that are also amazing and are far different from visigoth. My recommendation for you guys is a band from Portland. They dont have that much stuff out but they sure are a really good upcoming band, they just tour with king diamond last year. Their name is "idle hands". I'm sure you're gonna enjoy them.

Visigoth is pretty big in the underground scene and get good spots on the billings for festivals all across Europe. I've seen them 3 times here so far, incredible live band for sure! Jake (vocals) did a phenomenal guest performance at the memorial concert for Mark Shelton of Manilla Road who passed away 2 years ago. The full concert can be watched here if interested: czcams.com/video/m_Vft6q8DTY/video.html
It also features a lot of other guest musicians paying tribute to Mark Shelton!

@@MetalAcademix The song Queen of Desire is a good start with them. When you introduced us to Visigoth (Western Goths), Ostrogoth (Eastern Goths) popped into my mind. They were a band from the 1980s. Queen of Desire is from 1984.
They had similar problems as Visigoth, because they didn't get much attention due to their location. Belgium was not a major metal country that time. If they were from UK, they would be more well-known.
They played Heavy/Power Metal, but they don't sound generic. Underrated band.
