    I like how the red alert 3 expansion shows the opposite sides of each faction
    Allies - not perfectly good( experimentation in POWS)
    Soviets - not so bad after all ( exposing the real villains )
    Empire- not always the honourable one ( tatsu betrayal)

      The way I see it, Tatsu's betrayal could be the result of the Allies repeatedly ignoring the Empire's calls for help against the Soviets. So the Soviets are pressing Japan, the Empire is petitioning the Allies for help but not receiving any aid, so they have to fight on their own. In fact, the only times the Allies seem willing to aid the Empire is if the end result turns out to increase their own territorial power.
      Tatsu may have been truthful in wanting to bring peace to Japan, but the Allies turning deaf ears to pleas for aid against the Soviets combined with having to fight against his own people meant that, by the time you subjugate the last Shogun has caused him to grow completely disillusioned with the occupiers. So he's thinking that the Allies are only self-interested invaders, so he needs to take Japan back from these dishonorable foreigners (indeed, if you repel the Soviets from Japan in the Empire campaign and move to stop the source of their aggression at Vladivostok, an Allied division comes in to beat you back down).

      In this soviet campaign you see allies in blue and futuretech in white. They are the ones experimenting.

      Personally, I see all three having their bloodthirsty side, even the Allies who are designated to be the "good guys".
      For the Empire side, I'd say Tatsu did his best even with the crushing defeat in the original campaign. He tucked in his pride and bowed to the Allies in order to retain his power. His rebellion against the Allies is to be expected of him. To not rebel would be a bigger betrayal of his people. The only dishonorable thing he did was to betray his Shoguns to steal their resources and manpower. But with the success of the Imperial Commander in retaking Vladivostok, the Empire is poised for a comeback.
      For the Soviet's side, I'd say everyone, barring Tim Curry and General Krukov are loyal to their comrades to the end. Don't forget how Zhana and Dasha stayed by the Soviet Commander's side when Tim Curry betrayed him. They're just considered "villains" simply because they're opposing the Allies. In fact, the actions of the Soviet Commander and Dasha may have potentially saved the world by denying any side this gamebreaking power of stopping time.
      For the Allies' side, hoo boy, I look upon this faction with the least favor. Like the Soviets, the Allies' generals like Giles and Lisette are loyal to their own, but barring certain people like Marshal Bingham and Eva, the rest of them are rather callous b*stards in their own right. Even Tanya. They just hide it from their friends and direct their wrath on their enemies. President Ackerman is basically Trump unleashed (but JK Simmons' performance is a hoot!) and as for the EU President, that guy is corruption personified and his like needs to be eradicated in-game and in real life.
      Think about it. The EU President takes billions of taxpayers money and gives it all to a private company in Futuretech. Then they develop a device that gives him the power of world domination. No one would be safe if the Sigma Harmonizer is undestroyed. Not the Soviets, not the Empire, not even their fellow Allies. The only one who will rule for all time would be Rupert Thornley. With this mission, the Soviet Commander has averted dystopia.

      Don't count Ackerman as villain because ......
      Spoiler unless you played re3 (Japan perspective)
      He is robot controlled by the rising sun. Not even independent one.

    Funny. When I play this on medium after that first F-tanks shows up they send multiples at once....after many tanks, buggies. Once you finally smash all 3 F-tanks, the wave of regular vehicles pour in to take out what didn't already die. Will try what you did and set up base on land first.

    • @Tsujanryo
      @Tsujanryo Před 4 lety +1

      Ok yeah. Much easier. I even ignored the second base, went for the island in the corner. They still threw F-tanks at me in multiples...but if you bum-rush with Grinders they are halted there and don't get into the base to frag your basey innards.

    so why would soviets use apocalypse ever in this game when they have the grinder?

    • @aldousjrcarvajal7177
      @aldousjrcarvajal7177 Před 4 lety +1

      Yes the Grinders are useful but they are easily countered by mass units and artillery the grinder is easily countered in my opinion however the apocalypse tank can lure in enemies with their special ability and can take out massive enemy groups.With that I did this mission with 10 apocalypse tanks and 10 Kirov airships

    • @mostafaelzohirey9187
      @mostafaelzohirey9187 Před 4 lety +1

    • @paulyeung2544
      @paulyeung2544 Před 3 lety +1

      Grinders have an annoying drawback that they have to make a huge turn and cannot rotate, which makes them easy prey against rogue terror drones, cryocopters

  • @teammagmasmaxie6107
    @teammagmasmaxie6107 Před 5 lety +4

      True

    • @aldousjrcarvajal7177
      @aldousjrcarvajal7177 Před 4 lety +1

      In my opinion the grinders are weak completely and yes I did this mission with 10 Apocalypse tanks because cryocopters and 10 Kirovs because Kirovs deal heavy damages to structures with no cooldown unlike the twinblade and the dreadnaught

    • @paulyeung2544
      @paulyeung2544 Před 3 lety +1

    How do u make the structures rotate?? And those formations?

    • @redalert2havoc
      @redalert2havoc  Před 5 lety +5

      To rotate a building, hold down the left button before placing the structure.
      For the unit formations, select your units and hold down both the left and right mouse button, then you can drag the mouse around for different formations, let go of both buttons when you get the formation you want.
