Miss them so much. There will never be another band like them. They were truly one of a kind. I look forward to hearing what they come up with. It would be great to see them again someday.
Couldn’t agree more!
RIP Warrel. never forget putting Godless Endeavor in my car and sparking a joint with my best friend and losing our minds for the entire first listen. One of a kind band, nothing like a good Nevermore listening session.
All morning I Heard all my favorites ones I put that in the grand final, man him acids words never will die.
Keeping Nevermore alive always✊️
a Nevermore comeback is on time , there are amazing singers waiting to be called !!!
if anybody can tell the band this, please do it !!!!
nah man, this band died with WD. it's just a guy that cannot be replaced. people need to finally re learn that there are final consequences to things and nothing lasts forever. just let it rest and be glad you got what you got
@@hazardeur I have listen to your opinion for many years and bands that moved on without "important" members have proof me wrong, unless it is the "the one and only creative force" behind the band , like chuck from death of kurt from nirvana as an example , there is still talent and creativity to keep going with the band.
Glad Jeff mentioned Stuck Mojo! "Balls" is the definition of their sound
DEAD HEART is HANDS DOWN one of the BEST Albums EVER..By one of THE Best bands ...EVER..
Nevermore and pantera are my favorite bands. Both I shall never see again 🥺
This is so very special. Thank you
You’re so welcome. Thank you for listening.
Amazing interview, thanks for sharing. I miss Nevermore SO much, happy to know about this upcoming project. I really miss Jeff's trademark sharp riffs.
Glad you enjoyed it!
sound of silence is so much better than disturbs version
Nevermore's songs are timeless and without compare. Even now when I listen to them, it's hard to believe they will never write again. Very excited to hear the new music to come!
God how I miss them 🖤
What an awesome note to end 2023 on, i cant wait to see Jeff and Van collaborate again, Jeff must be hungry to get is musical identity back once more
So cool to hear Van & Jeff together for a Nevermore focused interview.
I wish Jeff & Van never split from eachother after the band split up.
Sounds like that has been rectified!
@@themetalexchangepodcast3811 it will be awesome to hear them together, but their chemistry together for Nevermore was absurd, I don't think it will be quite the same with GB, but still awesome!
Legendary episode guys! I can't wait to see (and hear haha)Jeff and Van working togheter again! RIP Warrel Dane.
Enemies of Reality is one of the most important albums of my life.
Those that know, just know. One of the greatest artistical works of all time, of any medium.
This is the best news ever. Im so stoked to see members of my favorite band collabing again. I can't wait to see what they come up with.
I discovered Nevermore during the Dreaming Neon Black years. I played Everquest and made friends with someone in a guild called Seven Tongues of Chaos. When I asked where the name came from, is when I learned about the band (based off their song Seven Tongues of God). Just a couple years later, the album Dead Heart came out and I was hooked.
I remember seeing Nevermore play in Richmond Virginia on the Dead Heart tour. I could not believe how small the crowd was. Nevermore was the opening act, they played about 6, maybe 7 songs and that was it. But it was so raw, so heavy, and they were on point technically. My mind was blown. How could this amazing band be an opening act for a crowd of maybe 300?? Followed them ever since.
RIP Warrel Dane! \m/
This interview could have been quite a bit longer and more in depth, even just on Dead Heart in a Dead World. I am suprised there was no mention of the solo from Engines of Hate. That solo is one for the ages!
Can’t wait to watch when I get home, omg.
Loved the interview.always enjoyed your show.love all their albums Jeff loomis is a huge inspiration to me as a guitarist
Thanks for listening!
i love your channel podcast 90% of the albums discussed on this channel match my music taste waiting for more episodes@@themetalexchangepodcast3811
Wow! Great job getting to talk to these guys 🤘🤘
Thanks for listening!
Damn I miss these guys. As much as I would love Nevermore to be “back” I understand why Jeff answered the way he did in past tense and it goes back to a point made earlier in the interview - those four guys were so unique and that’s what made Nevermore what it was. Without Warrel (or Jim, not sure what he’s up to) it just wouldn’t be Nevermore.
We think you’re right, unfortunately.
This is such a gift for every NEVERMORE fan. Thank you!!!
Had to add, We Disintegrate and Engines of Hate my favorite tracks from the album, though it's so hard to choose.
Thanks for listening!
As I'm a fan of sanctuary and nevermore. This is great Hope they get Shepard in the Bass. Look forward for this.😂😂😂
And Chris Boderick .
Chris Cornell on set of what tomorrow knows draining beers is good stuff
Cool listening to the band talk about their favorites from Dead Heart. We Disintegrate needs more love (best chorus WD ever wrote), and Engines of Hate is killer too. Whole album just fucking rips, though. 🤘
Incredible interview!
Thank you so much!
Holy sh*t, working with Graham Bonnet?? wasn't expecting that, defenitelly looking forward to hear that!
We were thrilled to hear this as well!
I am very curious to hear the songs he wrote for Arch Enemy but didn't make the record(s).
I'm sure they are straight up bangers!
Now that Loomis is out of Arch Enemy, this carrys a bit more weight.
Was searching to see who else thought the same.. very keen for what’s to come, Jeff can finally shine again
lmao @ the Dimmu Borgir/ballad story. Saw them touring that album and can confirm that the ballads just wrecked the crowd, in the best way.
Shame there was no real mention of jims contributions to the albums
Just read that Jeff left AE. I'd love to see him play live again (his own stuff, not Mike Amott's music).
The Nevermore version of Sound of Silence is my favourite version. It sounds so sinister and malevolent.
Latched on to Sounds of Silence "That is the song. That is the sound of silence" 😂 Insignificant Am I. Narcosyinthesis was rad! So cool yeah Warrel once shut down a show the Studio SEVEN because a fan got ejected for jumping off the stage. Hahaha I'm commenting as I am listening. Yeah that's the show at the old Show Box with Dimmu Hypocrisy and Children of Bodom. I warned my friends hey right after the Nevermore set make it back to the bar and wait a song before you want to jump back into that pit. That was a whirlwind of pain I was in my early twenties then. It went from Nevermore kind of drunk helping people up. To Shagrath taking the stage and saying "I want you to hurt Each other for SATAN! That show was quite the quit the contrast on a lot of levels. After two songs I jumped into the Dimmu. I didn't break anything but I was bruised may have chipped a tooth. We didn't run in circles back then.
Prise the knowledge
OOOO no que lastima que yo no domine inglés y los subtítulos no sean disponibles((((
Cómo se llama la banda que mencionó Jeff? Suck moyo?? Algo así
Stuck Mojo
Were they not happy together
This is an old interview, but still very cool.
We recorded live this past Thursday.
Huh? This is brand new.
this man is posting from the future
Acres of pee cans.
