This song is not just for Europe it is a WORLD song!!!! 12 points! So soulful, powerful and beautiful and her special, unique voice. Thank you for your reaction. Ana, Ana, Ana, Ana.... nice! Well done Ana. My winner!
Same here! It's a masterpiece! Has brought me to tears each time I listen to it. The message is so powerful, a much needed one for the whole world for such a time as this. Keep the faith. This too shall pass. Matthew 19:26
She went from not qualifying to being a serious contender for Jury Winner. If they stage it right it could be Slovenia's best result. I loved Voda but this is even better
Slovenia definitely LEVELED UP! They did not come to play! Spain could have taken MAJOR NOTES on how you do a Euro Ballad RIGHT! Loving the vibes of this entry.
I am Slovenian guy, and I love her voice so much, I love everything on her! Tnank you for all suport! 💓💓💓😉😉🤗🤗🤗 Greatings from Slovenia! All what we need is LOVE!! 💓💓💓💓💓😍💓💓💓💓💓
It is not a typical Slovene song, but still - the lyrics is beautiful and more people will understand - last year, as if nobody was listening to the song, they were all talking about what VODA is. It was a little strange. After that - came the music.
Finally the new song is here. Wow what a masterpiece, production and voice. It’s stands out from what we hear till now. Great back vocals, just amazing. Bravo 🇸🇮 sLOVEnia @Jordan l love your reaction 🥰
@@nevaklemenc1997 it's a bit like Tamara's song. Jury should love it but Tamara flopped with the public. I must admit I didn't initially like it either, but I'm hoping people will like Ana better! Not that many ballads so far so it's a plus
You say it, OH MY GOD!!! My soul and spirit cries Yes, Yes, Yes, Hallelujah! and I cannot stop crying. Absolute words and a direct voice into your heart. Direct message from Jesus to the seekers. Amen! Greets from Germany
Hi Jordan, me and my friend watched Ana togaether foe the first performance. I told him how yoy liked her last and I did too after her Home Performance version of Albania 2012. So I had high hopes for this one and Wow! I was not disappointed, until now I had Lithuania at number one (knowing there's a lot more to come) now I can safely say there are two songs in contention. Amen will be in the final and give Sovenia its best ever result and could win!!!.
Yes!, I’m so happy for Ana.This song was a good choice and ranks also in my Top 3 for now. Ana has charisma and a great voice, so she doesn’t have to do silly dance moves to grab someone’s attention (The Roop are doing it right though). I’m glad that the ESC is still a place for quality - at least sometimes.
Thanks for this amazing comments, for supporting my country so much. If you planing to travel to Slovenia let me know. Regards from slovenia 🇸🇮🌈🙏 Ps: I also think we will be able to get into the top 10 this year

Producer Žiga Pirnat formed the choir around Dorian Holley(a vocalist who has toured extensively with the likes of Michael Jackson) The backing choir of vocalists was recorded at EastWest Studios in Hollywood and Tony Maserati also worked on the song

Every time she showed up at Slovenska popevka or some other festivals, I knew she is going far with her voice. I really wish her a lovely singing career.
her vocals remind me of american singer anastacia (im outta love) but so far the lyrics and the energy from her puts this at my #3 spot. omg 2021 is looking very solid so far.
I love Ana. In fact, both Voda and Looking Back were the two most underrated entries last year. But I think while this song is amazing, it's a downgrade from Voda and it's missing something that makes is stand out in a contest, I also think we might have seen this done a few times, Voda had something very original about it. Idk. I would love to see it in the final cause ana is AMAZING and Slovenia is always underrated but I don't know what's gonna happen.
One of my favs for this year. And bro, you have become one of my favourite youtubers. We have basically the exact same tastes. Sending love from Australia
What about diversaty, equality, connecting people, be humen to human.....Halleluja we are glorius......we are born to the faight.......Rainbow power.....thats the meaning of this song ....Amen
Mark my words, this could be a real jury favourite. Some people are going to say this doesn't stand a chance, people said the same about North Macedonia 2019. Honestly English was a smart idea in regards to scoring well with juries, and I think it could have more televote support than expected. It's also the only proper ballad in semi final 1 so far which is an extreme advantage in an almost completely upbeat semi
With so many religious titles this year Vatican should be interval act. Austria also has song Amen while Sweden and Bulgaria have songs with religious titles too.
You were quick off the mark with this one Jordan :) I think Slovenia have really studied recent contests in creating this. This absolutely follows on from Tamara's Proud of 2019 (even down to the "Hey Child" opening line). Let's not forget - that went on to win the jury vote. The gospel choir is the absolute icing on the cake with this one. Top 10, surely? Absolutely!
@@JordanDavisEurovision It's in SF1 too, which is getting a bit dance and upbeat heavy - not a single other ballad so far. This should sail through to the final
Ana a few weeks ago: No, it’s NOT a ballad! Ana today: Hallelujah, it’s a ballad! 🤷♂ 🤣 I don’t really like it on the first listen, BUT then again it took me weeks for Voda to really grow on me, so I’ll give it time 🙃 Anyway, I’m so happy that you like it 😊
Sampled vocals are not allowed in Eurovision. Croatia 1999 (take a look) had the same issue. After ending 4th she got some deductible points and ended 7th in total.
@UC9JD_EivsZTowN1_D6NDahQ ok, it's this years rule because of the pandemic. So even if it's only one person on stage the backing vocals can be pre-recorded. But the thing is this is the whole choir behind her voice and even in normal conditions it's maximum 6 people allowed on stage
@@Hercules1977 Iceland and North Macedonia are also having a choir this year. And because its pre rerecorded technically it doesn't count as them being on stage.
Can yall drop down to earth and realize ... Its Slovenia ... almost no budget ... and actual song quality in eurosong dont matter for at last 25 years ... :) Lemme guess , we are ending up on the tail again .
Voda last year shot to my like 30th to 7th, this one is in current 2nd (because this is NOT my genre of music and Ukraine is), it's just passed Finland for me, and it'll be in my top 5 (Switzerland, Russia and Georgia to come for me still) and of course, Italy. Honestly I hate hate hate belters, from Céline Dion onwards, didn't like Molitva, HATED rise like a phoenix, so what does it say about Ana that I love her? Sweden is going to look so tacky and cheap compared to this.
It is too similar style of song of Proud (Tamara Todevski). For me too much! And when she sings Halellluuujaaaaahhh sounds like Duncans (2019) Ooooohhhooohhh ... Just listen those two songs and compare what i said/wrote...
Hmmm im not convinced. The best thing are her annie lennox vocals but the rest doesnt do it for me. Very retro. Expected sth different, more rocknroll maybe
It'd be interesting to hear her do a more rock-esque song. I think her vocals really suit this soulful gospel type song, so I'm, of course, very here for it lol. I also just like that her voice is so different from everyone else's.
