Mingyu said that after their parents watched it, they told them that they were supposed to mix the homemade wine with water. It’s plain alcohol base (?) to make soju or smth like that, that’s why it had 20-25% alcohol. Mingyu said “Oh, thats why it was so strong”

17:58 I feel Sean so much in this one. Explaining game concepts to those who don't play games much is kinda hard 😂😂
I keep on missing your livestreams 😔 I'll try to catch one next time ^^
Wishing SEANNA TV a Happy New Year, 다음에 또 만나요!!

I can relate in a way to Anna's identity struggle. For yearrrrsss I struggled with the feeling of not being (fully) accepted as a native either in my home country or my ancestors' country (esp. because I don't speak the language of my ancestors and I don't even know the culture that well). This struggle was heightened every time there was a riot in my home country and lasted for decades until I finally found my own conclusion in my early 30s. Now nearing my mid 40s, I'm a non native anywhere, but a citizen of the world. This can actually be a strength, as well, because this non-native-anywhere identity helped me adapt when I moved far away from home.

That’s very cool, thank you for sharing! Of course our individual perspectives and experiences shape our identities.

Hi, I'm the one who explain about the "Korean patch" thing. I've never thought about this joke like your perspective, so I just thought you don't understand the story behind. Thank you for explaining. I think I somehow understand how you feel (considering being Korean/ Japanese but was treated as a foreigner). I'm sorry if it hurts your feelings. I will also be more careful when it comes to this kind of joke. Have a great day ^^

🥺 That’s so kind, thank you for listening to my perspective! Like I said we don’t know how Shua feels about it so I don’t think there’s anything wrong about your explanation either. Thank you for taking the time to write both comments! 💙 -A

@@seannatv I forgot to mention this but I'm teaching some mixed students. Thanks to you, I think I could consider their feelings more thoroughly. You give me a chance to be a better person to my students. Thank you ^^

Ahh i am super latee, but i relate a lot to the whole introvert thing... My bf and i spend the weekend together as i usually have long weekends and as much as we love each other, we still need our "me-time" by ourselves. He'd usually just game or watch game streamers and i'd put on my full noice cancelling headphone doing my own thing lol. We are in the same room but we'll have our own time for like a couple of hours before we are spending quality time together (talking, being silly, watching a movie). So i relate a lot to minghao and wonuuu since we have the same MBTI which is infj (also so happy cause i am wonu biased to the core lol).

I have a question that's unrelated to GoSe but I hope it's okay to ask it here. I'd really appreciate if you could elaborate on Dino's "어쩔 수 없는 딴따라라서" comment that he made during svt's last visit to MMGT. The english subs said "I'm a helpless performer" and I'm particularly curious abt the word 딴따라 cuz I don't think I've ever heard it before. Is it a slang?

It used to be used as a derogatory term to call entertainers (singers, dancers, actors, and etc). While Korea was going through a rapid development, lots of people looked down on entertainment business, so they used this term to call those who didn't "study".
However, these days this derogatory remark is mostly washed out and they often just mean entertainers especially when it's used by themselves.
      Hope this helps!

@@seannatv Thank you for the explanation, that was very informative! Given the original meaning of the word, is it fair to read his comment both as a self-brag and also him being slightly self-deprecating/poking fun at himself at the same time?

    Is Xu/Seo the same name??

It depends on the Chinese character. In the case of Minghao's last name 徐, it's romanized from Mandarin as "Xu" and from Korean as "Seo." But there might be other characters that are read as "Xu" in Mandarin but might be read differently in Korean.
