Barn doors can fly too. I know that because I seen it on CZcams. You do have a nice barn!
I used torx drive screws on my cub build, hold up a lot better when removing and re-installing over time

Looking good. Enjoy the build. I found that the wix kit was not very adequate and having extra an3 and an4 hardware in every length through about -20 will speed things up. As well as lots of machine screws. Best of luck. 👍🏼

Any suggestions as to how I can see a Bearhawk 5 in person, talk to a builder, or maybe even get a test ride?
I live in the Long Island, NY area.
The 5 place is still relatively new. Not many flying yet. I would recommend going to Oshkosh Wisconsin for the airshow. It is amazing and worth it for so many reasons. Stop by the bearhawk booth. Virgil will show you his 5.

Will you be doing a conventional system like Stewart’s, or something like Oratex?
I like the idea of going light weight and having the paint, for the most part, already done. Likely going to be Oratex.

Yup. Engine, prop, Avionics, tires and fabric are all separate
