This past year has felt like a never ending storm. It was filled with challenges, fears, disappointments and loss. Yet with these trying moments and uncertainty of tomorrow, we should remember that we are not alone. God has shown that He is always present, that He is a strong fortress, a place for us to hide from the cares of this world.
May our voices and instruments remind us all that as we begin a new year, we can look forward with hope and assurance that as God has in the past, He will continue to and always be on our side. God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble.
Therefore, we will not fear, though the earth be removed, and though the mountains be carried into the midst of the sea. (Psalm 46:1-2)
To our frontliners around the world, who never cease to show God’s love through their everyday sacrifices, may this continue to remind and encourage you that God will protect and guide you as you serve others for Him.
