    Great worship performance. I just don’t understand the need of people sitting in the front in throne like posture all the time.

      Those are just the ppl who were assigned to give Scripture Reading, Offertory, Intercessory Prayer for that’s week service.

      ​@@razmuI've seen it a few times. It's really just about the structure of the auditorium. If there's no specific place for the choir to stand usually they'll choose the area best facing the audience. So in this case this stage is kind of multipurpose. It's used probably for preaching and reading the word, as well as for the choir rendition. It's not about them sitting like statues but more about the multipurpose nature of the stage

      Also, moving those sitting might be inconvenient at the time because the auditorium is likely full, so they just sit sort of to the side to enjoy the performance and once the choir leaves, they'll continue with what they have to do.
