Out of curiosity, how much are you paying for electricity per KW?
Expensive trash
For the original KA Box, they did drop the target temp to 75C in the previous firmware update, but they raised it to 80C in the latest 2.2.7 firmware version (originally 85C before any update). Based on my own experience the 75C target resulted in lower hashrate and more hardware errors. It seems to perform better at higher temp, though I'm not sure about the long term reliability.

Twenty five HUNDRED? Nah, I'm not even convinced I wanna spend $400 on a KS0 Ultra. Plus you know they are Goldshell box miners and that alone is a risk.
It's cool to have options but I think the prices need to come down for these home miner type of asic.

Thank you RPM. Your maths doesn't lie. Yep torn between 1 KA box pro and 4 Iceriver KS0 Ultra. On price easy decision. Power connection, i would feel more comfortable with 3 six pins than 1 barrel jack per KS0 Ultra (but they look sssoooo good). Maybe just buy the coin as a third option.

I like the box miners, they are easy to distribute around the house, they are not loud, you don't need a special place to manage noise and heat and they heat the rooms in winter.
Would I get the KA Box Pro? No, the $2.5k is too expensive for me and the risk that it won't pay for itself is too high.

I own a KA BOX and received my KA BOX PRO last week, it does run cooler than the KA BOX, but the noise is a bit louder than the KA BOX, I plan to sell my KA BOX next month and buy another KA BOX PRO in order to get more hashrate. I really hope that Goldshell can produce and release more stock to lower the market price and make it affordable for everyone.
In addition, I have purchased the tangem cold wallet mentioned in the video. I hope I can have good luck and get 2 days of free hash rate, haha

The KSO ultra and the KS5L are seemingly superior investments however the quality control and price action on these units is suspect. My KS5L has had the “abnormal temperature” reading since day 1. Also, I bought my KS5L for $13k, as soon as I got it they lowered the price to $7500. Also, only have had my KS0 pro for a couple months and the ultra comes out for the same price. Hi Panda. I am in crypto world few years and all of these miners are cool. I own few KS0, KS1. Unfortunately my electricity rate is very high so have not much profit after pay the bills. But still some profit have compare to GPUs. Also would like some of these KA boxes but the price is a bit high for me as a home miner. Who knows maybe one day will own some of the KA box. I think the KA Box pro is a pretty awesome product, especially for the intended target consumer which I think is home miners. I have a couple of KS0 pros in my basement which run super quiet and a KA Box would be a great addition. I won't "disturb" our neighbors and the heat can dissipate easily through a window.
