The 991.2 gt3rs is a absolute dream car 🤩
The 991.2 GT3RS is definitely not my dream Porsche, but the level of perfection is breathtaking. When I look at the details, I think again of the iconic art that Porsche has created. The genes in the 991 are simply different to those in the new one. It is so much more Porsche. And it's more emotional than the 992 GT3RS and more reminiscent of the older 911s. The kind of sound is simply beautiful.
My dream remains a 991.2 GT3 in GT Silver, Indian Red or Riviera Blue.
Why the GT3 and not the RS though?
@@just.for.the.downshifts I can't answer for him but it's probably more "usable" on the road, plus there is the manual gearbox
As of course you know the vast majority of us can't afford such a car, but you share it so well, so well that we also get to be a part of it! For the moment, it seemed that I could smell the interior. Congratulations to you and to us as well!

Oh my goodness I can't believe how the last owner cheaped out on the steering column in deviated and leather..... lul. On a more serious note. You won't believe how lite the stock back can is. If you can get a Dundon long tube and high flow cats that will delete the heavy side mufflers. Also it seriously reduces the heat soak on the rear tires. You'll get some more power and the system with the stock center sounds really nice and livable.
This exact spec would be the one to keep forever. Absolute dream, Congrats!

IMO 991.2 GT3RS was better looking than the 992, just simpler yet aggressive but not overdone❤

Ha yes seems like lots were, as I said I love the 991 platform now and holy moly the .2 is just perfection. Just couldn’t say no to upgrading a car I already loved so much to the best possible version of it.

Sharing your Summer disappointment. I have semi slicks on my Touring, so every time it rains I’m sh**ing myself while being overtaken by Skodas and Passats! Oh, and the Carbons are great in the rain! Press the brake pedal, wait, wait, wait, and eventually the car starts slowing! Nice clean wheels though!
Haha yes, big sacrifice for clean wheels but worth it 😂
I switched to PS4S on mine and it feels so much safer. Even drove on the autobahn in a rainstorm in 110 km/h on the new tires. Would never do that with the cups.

Drive it through Tuscany, Italy. I was there recently in a rental fiat 500, and wished I had a more playful car. Still a blast though!

please take it to Timmelsjoch on Austria-Italy border this summer before the weather gets worse.. you should also visit the Top Mountain Motorcycle Museum there and also go to the Italian side and visit Mosso di Passiria village, it’s just so beautiful.. there are some insane Alpen mountains views.. please do that route starting from Innsbruck area.. you will love it!! 💚

Luke another epic vlog with your signature high quality filming, What a car, it's been a never ending upwards journey over the last few cars and I do feel that you are likely at the peak now. Whilst I love the spec of the car I do wonder what it would look like with silver (or grey) coloured wheels over the bronze ones fitted? I suspect the silver / grey might make it more 'balanced' to the eye but then again maybe the strength of the bronze colour is the way it catches the eye - well not something I have to worry about sadly! OK, "holy moly!" I just took delivery 20th june of my .2 GT3RS Weissach in GT silver! The reason I got this instead of a previously planned 993 4s is in big part because of your .1 and "key to hapiness" video. Cheers mate, my only issue is every time I see your videos you make me want o go out and find my own GT3 (rs) I was wanting a 2022 GT3 but maybe I will have to drive them both and see which Iike the most. I am thinking of doing one for my 50th birthday so a couple more years. I have also always wanted a Ferrari 355 they are beautiful, but I would likely do a 458 or SF90. I think the Porsche will be the better choice for many reasons. Anyway cheers Luke super stoked for you, keep grinding.

Have been playing with the idea of a tour of Italy series since some months.
The roads in Italy are supposed to be awful though. Southern France would be a more enjoyable drive imo.
@@carswithluke I know the roads can be busy, like along the Amalfi Coast 😰, but I'm sure you can find somewhere further away from the tourist hot spots.
I've just driven from Switzerland to Tuscany with my wife in our RS4 B8. Of course not a GT3 RS, still a sporty, high revving and lowish car, it's been tremendously fun. The roads are not like Swiss roads, nonetheless, good to drive. And the amount if Porsches there is also speaking for itself, I'd suggest going there.

Congrats Luke. The 991.2 GT3 RS is an epic car. I reviewed on a few years ago against a 991 GT2 RS.

@@carswithluke The 991.2 GT3 RS was much more exciting to drive with the N/A engine. The GT2 RS felt like it had too much power and wasn't as usable. I am sure you could extract all of the power on a race track, but the GT3 RS is more fun for the road. I was also surprised at how much better the 991.2 GT3 RS was over the 991 GT3 RS!!
