DIY: Making a Snuggle Sack with Two Hidey Holes

This is a pretty easy DIY, I have been wanting to make for a long time. It’s a Snuggle Sack with Two Hidey Holes! It is a great enrichment toy for ferrets and other small pets and this snuggle sack even crinkles. (Materials list and link to materials are below)

MATERIALS USED IN THIS TUTORIAL (see link to some materials below)
- Sewing Machine
- Fleece
- Snuggle Flannel
- Crinkle Paper
- Scissors
- Ruler
- Pen
MEASUREMENTS (these are the measurements of my snuggle sack, but the size can be changed to meet the needs of your pet. Although, I do not recommend making it smaller than 18” x 18”)
Finished project 24” hW) x 26” (H)
Fabric was cut to:
Back 24” x 27” (1 piece pattern of cotton + 1 piece of fleece):
2 rectangles 13” x 14.5” (2 pieces pattern flannel + 2 piece of fleece)
2 rectangles 13” x 14.5” (2 pieces solid flannel + 2 piece of fleece)
2 pieces of crinkle paper cut 13.5 x 15” (optional)

Instead of leaving a seam opening could I just pull it through one of the ferret holes? Or would that not work?
