00:10:00 - Is it a sin to be attracted to the opposite sex, is that different to same sex attraction?

01:16:50 - How far should Christians be pushing this debate in the public sphere, should we be protesting and lobbying politicians etc on these issues?

01:30:20 - Is conversion therapy Biblical?
In this live event, Costi Hinn will be asking these types of questions to Owen Strachan and Gavin Peacock, authors of three short, practical books that clarify what the Bible teaches on these hot button topics.
To say that God created us to be male or female, and that he gave us sex as a gift to be enjoyed within the context of marriage between one man and one woman may be one of the most contentious things you could say in our modern society. Afraid of being met with cries of, ‘love is love’, ‘I was born this way’ and ‘intolerant bigot’, many Christians feel ill-equipped to engage with friends, colleagues and family members on what the Bible says on lust, homosexuality and transgenderism.

Nowadays having shortish hair as a woman does not signal she is anything in particular, although maybe it does if it’s an edgy style, or shorn.
In recent years some men have shorn their hair particularly short and that’s become quite mainstream to younger men, and helped those who have thinning hair, but to older people that signals aggression or ex-prison or, I don’t know what, but that can be softened by how they dress.
I have shoulder length hair since covid confinement, but I want to shorten it to chin length because I overheat and it’s so uncomfortable. And as an older weaker person it’s also an effort to put it up and not get breathless or faint sometimes. Let alone deal with cleaning up great long hairs that get wrapped around the vacuum. It’s all so much easier when it’s a bit shorter, without being dramatically so. So I was hoping to confirm what some say, that as long as I signal femininity, and I am blessed with wavy white hair, I’m doing nothing wrong. I want to honour the Lord and not disturb the angels!
I tried a shawl over my head at church but got cornered with a person’s questions which I couldn’t answer and a sermon obviously aimed at me! And again, come a hot flush, I was unable to not get faint. It is very difficult.

Run that Samson analogy about him being the exception to the rule by me again? I’ve been a Christian all my life … 40+ years and raised in a PK family with 11 AoG pastors and whilst I confess only in 2021 did I read the Bible cover to cover in a year for the first time. (now entering my 3x in 3 yrs) I’m still familiar with most every major event or story we run across as we progress thru Gods word - yet this hair thing in Corinthians I guess is a verse that I didn’t catch in my readings and never had a pastor or fellow believer raise it as an issue before? I’ve never heard this! I accept the first part of your explanation and am fine with Paul’s response to Corinth so you’ll get no argument from me there… but just heard about this on another Pastoral CZcams channel as he did his Friday night “20 questions” segment and basically that same Q came up and I must confess the first thing that came to my mind as well, was Samson. And not only is it apparently wrong per se as I just learned via Paul’s recommendations - if I’m recalling Samson’s story correctly from my childhood VBS days (as reading the story of Samson in the Bible “dry” straight thru without an emphasis on his entire story - his hair length and the source of his strength are not quite as well outlined or explained (interwoven) as the “Kids Bibles” make it out to be 40 odd years ago. So to simply say he’s the exception that proves the rule; (?) isn’t enough. Didn’t he loose his strength after she cut it? So again. I agree with your Corinth responses. Just wish you’d explained further how Samsung made it “okay”? (It’s actually apples and oranges at the 30,000’ level for as you’ve already explained, these verses are for the Church in Corinth) … Samsung is another story and time and place. Switching gears; I see you all also do NOT reply to any Q’s asked here? Interesting. 🤔So if a fellow brother or sister can maybe shed some light on this, I’d appreciate it. I’m speaking as someone one whose been in lockdown for 3 years battling adrenal cancer b/c I have ZERO immunity (think one step away from “bubble boy”) and just noticed my hair has passed my pecks now. Definitely time for a cut but can’t risk the winter viruses esp now that the vax have proved to be largely ineffective. TIA. Peace.

I am a 4month old Christian and African woman who loves Jesus so much. I also love my society so bad that being in the west is hard. I love my short hair but i am often adressed as "sir" or "Mr" at work because of my short hair. I also need to mention that our uniforms are the same across the board so hair is often how you can tell what someone is. It has become too much that for the first time in my life today 25/12/2023 i am wearing a wig. I dont want to support the gender ideologies indirectly so i am compromising my ideal

Your mainly pointing this to those of whom specifically say that they are part of the homosexual sin. In my opinion y’all briefly touch up on those who are not indecent in society. What about the believers in Christ that will forever love the Lord and follow the path he has destined for them? Would that women be considered indecent because of an outward appearance that can and will grow back in time? I have grown up in a Baptist Church for as long as I can remember. Yes, my parents think the exact same as the rest of you who discussed the topic. Although I can’t come to terms with it. From what my parents have tried to explain to me is that if you get short hair you would be telling the world that you, yourself are a homosexual. Even though I am very well a strong believer in Christ. Why isn’t it the same if you lost a limb? Now obviously no one would personally want to lose there limbs, but hypothetically speaking. Let’s say that you lost a limb would that consider you to be a bad person who likes the same sex? No, it wouldn’t! Most likely people might think maybe they did some heroic thing or lost it in a surgery. It’s all just Christians stereotyping one another. Also in that specific moment of the Bible, God was telling people not to put idols and other Gods before him. Actually he was saying not to have any at all. So if a women put her appearance before Christ then she is worshiping an idol and not using it to praise God. So is short hair for women bad and does it actually contradict what God says? We will never know unless God gives us a very clear answer. So it’s best to pray about it and go/ do whatever it is that God has planned for you.

I have struggled with this issue, but I have uterine cancer and have heart issues. I've always wanted long hair and still have fairly long hair. However, it is very hard for me to take care of and I feel I need to cut it at least to my jaw line or abit below it. Will I be disobedient to The Most High?

First things first: Pray to the Lord God of Israel for wisdom and understanding through His Son, Christ Jesus, who died and bled His love for everybody; even you. Read scriptures of healing and restoration to your physical body and invite the Holy Spirit to come into you and renounce all sicknesses and infirmities in order to be cast out in Jesus' name.

I believe that I would focus on the ten commandments and live the best I can according to God's word. I think if this is something we are worrying about then there is something wrong. It makes me think that we could find something wrong with how we breathe if we look hard enough. I look at the spirit in with which things are done. I don't have short hair but that's just because it's easier for me. My aunt has short hair, but she didn't do it to impersonate a man and she still looks incredibly feminine. You could drive yourself crazy with things like this.

I am not going to argue, I just I wonder sometimes how people can use the same word "God" - and have such different thoughts and beliefs in their mind and heart. I don't know, to be honest. One of our greatest problems is that we create our own image of God based on our own philosophies and beliefs. There are probably as many “gods” in this world as there are people. But the real God knew this would be a problem and wanted his creation to know who he REALLY IS and how they can know him personally. So he speaks to certain people throughout history and preserves his word for thousands of years to which is now called the Bible(I personally believe this is the King James Bible). There are bibles available to just about every person on this planet. Whatever questions or uncertainties you have in life, the Bible certainly has an answer for it. God doesn’t want to leave you in the dark, all you have to do is put in some effort and desire to understand God and what he wants from us and he will answer. There are millions of Christian’s out there but you really have to question what God they believe in if they haven’t read, understand, and believe their Bible. Jesus said there is NONE GOOD in this world, we cannot make the world a truly better place. All of our efforts are in vain and cannot measure up to God and certainly cannot atone for our sins, this is why God came down in the flesh to take up our sins upon himself and die. But he proved he was God by resurrecting himself from the grave and now we have that opportunity to accept his free gift of salvation. Romans 10:9-10

I think this is a silly statement in today's world. What about African American women? They have trouble with this. How could you possibly fault them? If this is all you have to worry about in the world, you must live a very sheltered life. Also, if you are addressing women about something that only affects women, how about having a woman present?

1 Corinthians 11:6 “ For if the woman be not covered, let her also be shorn: but if it be a shame for a woman to be shorn or shaven, let her be covered.” (KJV) Note that is says “IF”. So if it’s personally shameful for the woman to shave her head, she should be covered in long hair. God prefers women to have long hair because that is her glory and it represents her outward appearance as a woman. If you need to or want to cut your hair short as a woman, it is not a sin. The question is: why are you doing that? God is the God of heart, not of appearance.
