I think this felt a little forced or awkward... If anyone reading this thinks the same, watch more of her stuff. This might be one of the worst, she's WAY better than this clip. Maybe it was because the audience feedback wasn't picked up by the mics? Or maybe I've seen these same jokes of hers told way better in other videos?
I kind of hate to have seen this video because she's way better. Maybe because it was on Jimmy Fallon? And that guy is as unfunny as they come? And he kills her cool vibe?

It's a huge honour. Letterman would do it to guys like Brian Regan and he'd mention how that was one of his greatest moments of his career. Not just to be asked to guest spot on the show but to find out the host was not only listening (truthfully, not all hosts care about all their guests), but to show it by highlighting a line they were particularly tickled by.

She only had a couple of minutes to plow through things. What I've always liked about her jokes is that she packs them in, one after the other, but without seeming rushed, whereas other comedians often drag things out or repeat themselves (Chris Rock is notorious for saying everything 3 or 4 times) to fill in for lack of material.
That was good. A good, polished set. She knows what she’s doing.
I've met Taylor's work yesterday and I sincerely think she is the most talented stand up artist I've ever seen. For real.

5:05 "sigh into a harmoinca and if it's on pitch....'get out of the car Johnny Cash!'" is probably the funniest and sad but true description of depression ever. Her jokes and delivery in all her sets are so good. My favorite is still the pep talk she gives her not-crying husband-to-be. The cupping of the chin is one of the best stand up gestures ever.

Same here. It's so rare to see a girl's comedy comment section be 99% positive. She's for sure going to blow up now. Get ready lady, life's about to change. She's been on talk shows so many times but nobody cared. A few days on Netflix and everyone's on her nuts. Netflix is unbelievably influential. It can turn you from a journeyman road comic to a rich celebrity almost overnight.

This crowd sucked and before anyone said, "they laughed a lot" or "it's corona season" it wasn't until a week after this big events were shutting down and businesses didn't start shutting down a couple of weeks later. So this is a "normal" Jimmy Fallon crowd that think "breaking character" in a comedy sketch is the funniest form of comedy.
