2017 WRX Coilover install, the EXACT wrong way

- Installing coilovers for a wrx could not have been more difficult. This was, however all my own fault. It was really hard for me to finish this video because I am not proud of how epic of a fail it was. I figured, if I did everything the wrong way, I might as well make fun of myself so the you, the viewer, could get some kind of value out of it. The problem was that I had the car jacked up from side to side instead of front to back. And as I state in the video multiple times, this caused there to be tension on the sway bar which held up the control arms so that the strut could not slack and be easily removed. There was a lot of head scratching and frustration and grunting and cussing that went into the making of this video. AND AT NO POINT DID I DECIDE IT WOULD BE SMART TO JACK UP THE OTHER SIDE AT THE SAME TIME. mega facepalm. Anyway, learn from my mistakes.

i recently installed RCE springs on my wrx. main thing i wouldve done differently on the rear lower control arms would be to disassemble them the opposite way. the bolt that connects it closest to the caliper should stay put. that method got my rear springs installed in less than 45 mins. on the bright side, you learned something! enjoy the videos man. dont quit.

I'm glad I actually read the notes because then I picked up that jacking one side was tensioning the sway bar. Thanks

Some of my worst wrenching mistakes have been the best learning experiences. Take that knowledge as a win! What other coils did you consider buying?
The only other ones I have considered after this catastrophe was BCracing, fortune auto, or airlift

We have all done it hahah. I broke an abs sensor somehow as well as popped my front right axle out while installing my first set of coilovers on mt 15 wrx hahahha

lift the whole front end and it will be a lot easier, you dont even have to remove the endlink
