I've said many times, we Brits will only take so much and the time has come for us to stand up for ourselves and show our children that we are strong, courageous, are here for them, and will fight for them and our culture and our country.

That may have been the case 30yrs ago. Community division + educational indoctrination etc has eroded that ideology.

Hi Paul I founded and have run a community charity in Glasgow for 44 years. In two weeks time the hate crime bill becomes law in Scotland. We will become a middle age country overnight. The separation of powers has been fundamental in modern democracy since 1842. The electorate, judicial and executive. No one should hold more than one power. The Scottish government have integrated the judiciary in to government control. The hate crime law now jails the Electorate based on perception rather than evidence. Punishable with 7 years in jail if your free speech criticises the government. Society will disintegrate through fear. How on earth the British government has not closed the Scottish parliament under section 35 is beyond me. Scotland is no longer British because our citizens no longer have the freedom of the rest of Britain . . .
So don’t accept it. Get out on the streets Jocks, support each other. Stick together. They can’t arrest thousands of you. 👍🏻

As a 40 year old British Sikh born in Leicester same as my ‘old man’ born in Leicestershire to me it’s all about representing values. Traditional values that taught us right from wrong. Traditional values such as enjoying a cheeky pint on a Friday with the lads followed by a bag of chips. Traditional values such as ‘thank you’ and ‘please’ still go a very long way. Traditional values that we earn a honest living and look out for our next generations. Traditional values such as looking out for your neighbours. I could go on and on! Well although we do have a certain set of values, they were virtually unchanged for centuries here. The 'British values' everyone is bludgeoned with now from the establishment seems to be all about the long standing heritage population meekly standing aside as our natural culture born of centuries together is forced out. Our humour is sarcasm and insult, which any English man will immediately recognise as not being intended to harm. That now has to go. Certain literature, poets, authors all branded 'racist' when there was little intention of being so. No one ever voted for all that we've been told we have to accept. Tradition for millions here is more about some loose set of values in 'modern Britain' it encompasses centuries of our families struggles/achievements and the mark they've left on the land and in our psyche. All that over the course of decades (a lot of people forget this) with a slow drip effect is being removed from us. People have been disconnected and therefore lost, and so it is refreshing to see some waking up to that as Mr Thorpe appears to have done.
I agree with everything you said tonight. I am an OAP and I think the older generation must have a thicker skin. I am not offended by any name calling because of what I believe in, it's water on a ducks back to me. I am however, angry that our government has taken our rights away, that allows us to voice our opinions, without the fear of retaliation. We are no longer silent, but we are being silenced.

Well said Paul, I agree with all your comments. I’ve been a life long Conservative supporter, but not anymore. We have the worse Politicians in our lifetime. I’ve now decided to stand as an MP for Reform UK as I’ve had enough. We seem to care more for other people than our own. We’ll house people who enter our country illegally, yet don’t look after our homeless or elderly.

This is an ancient nation. It has a history to it, that millions are deeply connected to. The bones of our ancestors lie beneath. It is impossible for some to appreciate the trauma being caused to us by the political establishment who are trying to wipe all that away for their new 'Island story'. They are imposing endless numbers of people on us with differing cultures and human nature being what it is, every group wants to be top dog and vie for supremacy. That changes everything and no political party has ever been given a mandate to do what they've all done. So, it is impossible to keep the political out of it.

There I was thinking that because I'm now 75, I've become the typical grumpy old man due to the fact that I do not like the way things that have changed in our country. After listening to Paul, I realize that my concerns are not only legitimate, but widespread, and definitely not age related any more. The comparatively safe and comfortable life many of us have led in this country has resulted in an apathetic acceptance of the way things are. The wishes of the people have been ignored for the last 50yrs in our so called democracy otherwise we would still have had a country to be proud of. Any form of protest is routinely ignored, censored, or rubbished and with the present political set up I can't see that changing. The only hope is a radical political shake up - maybe voting Reform could be the only answer but then again ?
There’s no maybe, you have got to vote Reform as this is the only chance we have of getting the two faced Barstewards out of Westminster.

The whole idea is for our centuries old identity to be erased. As the constant doom and gloom is all about making you think you've lost and therefore no point in resisting. Once a people have lost their true roots they are easier to manipulate. I remember when I was growing up in the 1970's my parents thought that the chipping away of our culture was leading to the rise of what they called the 'yob' culture. Our young people now need decent role models, to get them away from this skulking band of down beats on drugs. Immerse yourself in all our old literature that they've branded as racist, celebrate our adventurers and historical figures etc etc If the wokerati don't like it , well that's even better.
Growing up in the 1960s/70s my ‘heroes’ really were heroes, not the footballers and celebrities kids seem to follow today. My heroes were my father, uncles and grandparents all who had served and fought for our country and who would wipe the floor with the lefty woke t0$$ers who pass for heroes today. I think it's not so much people are scared to speak up,it's that people see it as pointless,you either get shut down or even arrested these days when people do.

Stay true to yourself. I'm afraid some of our people are lost and also it is 'pull the ladder up Jack' attitude. But, unless we see real change soon then things will affect them in time, which may alter their attitude. I've seen it over the years, it's incredible how many people now are worrying about the dramatic changes to our home, and people who were once very fluffy liberal types have had a nasty surprise and even they are now seeing it all differently.

Brian I agree with all you say Paul is a true patriot if ever there was one, I’m 85 very disabled and in despair at what is happening to our once Great Britain 🇬🇧 I feel helpless to do anything, our future generations are going to loose their wonderful heritage and still there are some people that bury their head in the sand…..I have lost relatives in WW2 the youngest being my cousin barely sixteen years old that perished when the ‘Hood’ was sunk by the ‘Bismarck’ did all those brave men and women die in vain 😢 I can only hope good prevails over evil:)

I'm just thankful I live in a very rural area away from the big cities. And in the past I used to go to London to the Hammersmith odeon and see bands play, the bike shows at Earl's Court, and the Olympia etc and I have always loved London, but now I wouldn't feel safe going there which is very sad. I don't feel like this is my country anymore, and yes I worry for the next generation, and the further generations to come and how it's going to be for them. I'm proud to be British born and bred, but sadly these days I'm ashamed of what my beloved country has become. 😢 😢

100% with you. 6 kids, 7 grandkids, worked all my life, from 18 to 58, never out of work. Paid a lot of taxes, and for what. I proudly wear George Cross badges, and stickers on my cars, I too, genuinely worry for my and others, Littleones.

Edmund Burke once spoke about the Contract of Civilisation, that is a contract between the dead, the living, and the yet to be born. A contract that guarantees the benefits of those gone before us are passed down from a spiritual, ethical and cultural perspective are then enjoyed and improved upon for the coming generations. I think the point he was making is when a society becomes selfish, ignorant of heritage, history and culture that civilisation starts to collapse leaving the gates open to the “Barbarians” …. It’s time to recommit to our glorious Contract of Civilisation for the sake of the yet to be born 🏴 🇬🇧 ✝️

I mirror your words your thoughts and feelings, we're not racist or biggits we're kind loving living people who just want a fair deal,no special treatment just to start being treated with respect and support,i believed for years to live and let live but we've been taken advantage of,no violence or harm to anyone just to have a voice,I had issues flying my F1 motor racing chequered flag🏁 on a pole in my garden because i love and follow the sport,told it could offend,i had to make a stand to keep my flag and common sense won through in the end, it's a real sad state of affairs,most people who approach me about my flag it's with a positive attitude,great channel 👍🇬🇧
