Hi Phil, it's exactly the same type of heater I've got in my Sheoak camper. You'll love it when it gets cold.

Ran into a bit of an hurdle yesterday afternoon. After I removed the safe. I found that water got into the ply floor and caused some damage. I’m repairing it now. Putting in a new piece of ply.
Than I will be back to the installation

Hi Phil, I bought the same diesel heater. You made a great choice. I just wanted to bring something to your attention regarding the muffler pipe. I noticed the pipe you received didn't have muffler bandage on it. The muffler I received had muffler bandage fitted. I also ordered an additional length of pipe from AU FOCUS website and that also come with bandage fitted to the pipe. That muffler pipe gets extremely hot. I don't know if you want to contact AU FOCUS and ask why you never received the bandage or just go and buy the bandage and apply it yourself. I strongly recommend having muffler bandage fitted for safety reasons.
    Cheers buddy 👍

I was curious about that. As in the add at time of purchase it did say muffler wrap included.
I had to change the location of the muffler two days ago. It melted my water pipe. Although it was the pipe to the rear which I don’t use.
I ordered an extension, hopefully the wrap will be included this time.

Good review Phil, I agree the Chinese eBay heaters instructions are useless

  • @man.i.literally.failed6772

I won't buy another Chinese heater ever again, after 80 hours of use it cokes up and blows white smoke, I don't believe anyone who says they had success with Chinese heaters, this unit your showing does look way better in quality, but when I get my new Crusader caravan, I'll be buying the best. Don't wanna be replacing the thing 3 times a year

    i have a 2000s HONDA CR-V WAGON THAT I CAR CAMP IN
MY QUESTION would a deisel heater be safe and practical to keep me warm in my parked vehicle overnight
i have a electric blanket that drauns my car battery and im too poor to go into portable batteries
i see so many cheap deisel chinese heaters on online with the many CZcamsrs who would stand by what they claim is a reliable product for van life yet im not in a van
im lucky to be able to afford to petrol to get out of Brisbane and Bundy the fisrt place that feels like home i want to get back to seeing i lived on The Hummock for a decade on the 90s now i'm 50 on a pension not being able to afford a hotel room car camping is where i am at egy i bought a CR-V wagon
lest time i was in Bundy was 2022 woke up 1am Queens Park by The Burnett it was July i was frozen to the core dieing for a pee got back in the car heater on warmed up and drove the 4 hours home couldn't hack it
two years later maybe this July i will be better prepared
    still got no money
    just will

Hi. Sorry to read your situation. Good luck for the future.
You will need to be very careful of carbon monoxide.
I think in your case, I would at the all in one diesel heaters. Vevor would be a good budget brand, no more than 2kw.
You will need to have the diesel heater outside your vehicle and run the hot air outlet tube from the heater outside your vehicle into your car.
I suggest through your window. You will have to find someway to seal the rest of the window.
Also you will have to keep the diesel heater out of the rain. A tarp of the side of your vehicle would be ideal.
And I recommend to invest in a carbon monoxide detector for inside your vehicle.

    • @aussiecue
      @aussiecue Před měsícem +2

If installed correct, These are safe to be inside a vehicle. Thats what they were first designed for. The kit that Phil has is the right kit for fitting inside a car. Don't get the all in one, That is where you can run into Carbon monoxide problems as it has to sit outside and duct hot air back in somehow.
