- In this episode of Hermitcraft Season 10, Mumbo works on creating the stupidest death message in Minecraft on the Hermitcraft Survival Multiplayer server. This Hermitcraft episode includes some additions to my Minecraft Survival Starter base, interactions with Rendog and Iskall, a giant hunt for Minecraft Llamas and more!

That's self-taught redstone vs redstone learned from tutorials. Not knowing what a circuit component is called means you either weren't paying attention when getting told, or that you learned the component structure by yourself

17:33 fun fact, you only need 1 lead, no matter how many lamas you have. When tot put a lead on a lama and start to walk it places, any lavas that are nearby will automatically follow, creating a caravan
that probably doesn't work well on water though. They'd be too slow to follow a boat right? (haven't tested this)

@eltonlrodriguez the diamond burning is entertaining to me because you don't know what he's thinking. You just know it's negative.
You should make the suicide booths from futurama, and put them all around the server, and link them up with hoppers to your base so that all the items end up there whenever you use one.

I really like the editing style you're going for with these videos! The title cards are really fun, and the way that the montage of building the piston door plays over top of you talking about it afterwards is a cool choice. it's awesome seeing your knowledge of film-making starting to influence your Minecraft videos more, and even though it's subtle, you can tell that there's more thought being put into presentation and storytelling beyond just editing down a recording.

This whole killing design thing reminded me of something Zedaph would normally do, meanwhile Zedaph’s last episode he was very excited about doing a more purely redstone thing that you would normally do lol it’s a very fun switch up
There are so many incredible cuts in this video. From Ren's distant scream of Mumbo's name, to the slow zoom in on Iskall's messages at the end. Absolutely brilliant

Truly, the greatest starter base of all time.
Now all you need is an overworld Ender Dragon near an enderpearl stasis chamber-rigged world border so you get the ''Mumbo Jumbo left the confines of this world while fighting an Ender Dragon,'' which is the *single rarest* and most difficult to get death message, at least out of the ones I'm aware of.
I can't believe that Mumbo's first four episodes on Hermitcraft are just around getting into his base. Amazing.
And it's such a tiny, single room base. How long is he even going to stay there?
Episode 1 was somewhat productive with the whole building and then the next 3 are the direct consequences of it. Truly incredible lmao

I found that part of the video pretty funny because it seems like a better way for Mumbo to enter his base and wouldn’t have to die to do it.
Don't be so surprised about accidentally being mislead by Xisuma, Cleo once spent an hour trying to tame a cat with cooked fish X gave her for that purpose. Their bases barely survived the fallout.

I noticed you had string under the glow berry vine to stop growth outside your death machine door, but I'm pretty sure you can use shears to stop growth as well without the floating white line being there.

mumbo's has been getting more unhinged ever since s8 and I'm all for it
in my opinion it is a bit of a missed opportunity to not hook up a system to dispense a single snowball when you open the door with the barrel. i think that little bit of extra automation would be the cherry on top

I'm not sold on them tbh. They're a bit jarring, breaks the immersion of the gameplay and there's too many of them. They might work better to split the video into a classic 3 act structure instead. But who's asking me lol

Mumbo : depose items that go upward in his base -> wants these items -> kills himself to access to his base that is too high -> takes his items -> jump off his base.... It seems complicated but mumbo did it so it s genious
For the item shooter thing into your base- i tested the bottleneck speed for inventory loading and it seems like the dispenser is the primary cap. By swapping it into a system where a hopper minecart loads the items from the barrel into a shulker, and the shulker is then dispensed instead of individually doing items, you wont have to wait to collect your items as slowly. Negative is youll have to be 100% sure you aim right and the items dont get lost like they do around 9:00 with iskall, and it looks slightly less cool. Good luck and if you see this idea awesome!

also, I don’t mean to sound rude, but british people are kind of just like this. they tend to be mean to their friends as a love language. grian makes fun of scar all the time and as far as I know they’re still close friends.

Then you’ve never seen Iskall & Mumbo endbust or stream together, of which there several examples from season 4, 5, 6, and 7. Luckily for you, those streams are evergreen and you can see them on Mumbo’s channel or wait for the two of them to go endbusting this season again.

18:35 it always cracks me up when the hermits (aside from iskall) re remember how good they are. Literally my main mode of propulsion, especially to go straight up like that. I know they are twice as common to get in Bedrock but thats still no excuse for every hermit to not have one lol, there are drowned farms after all.
You probably won’t see this, but instead of using string to stop the growth of the glow berries, you can instead right click on them with shears and they will stop growing.
I love the vibes this season. Mumbo is a total madman and a menace 😂
