One of Chopin’s finest quite possibly THE finest. So very beautiful, the main theme is exquisite in every way and the ending manages to be dramatic without sentiment. Pretty much perfection. One gets the impression Chopin knew EXACTLY what he wanted and how to express it. No improvision at all.
All his ballads portray deep emotions specific to each piece. I feel that many of Chopin's pieces depict feelings I have that no other music has made me feel.
That first part of the coda where it has the arpeggiated octaves up and down the piano in this key is just beautiful
That Cb-Abm-Bb7-Ebm might be one of the nicest chord progressions ever😍 at 13:41

dear friend , i cannot express how much this specific video means for me. This piece already held a special place in my heart, but THIS is the absolute best « slowed » version i’ve listened to. Your choice of the painting PERFECTLY fits, and the combination of the melody with it is truly ethereal. I hope it will always be around until the end of times. Thank you :)
Thank you for your kind words! I'm so glad my version speaks to you so deeply. Thank you for listening and supporting!
I was waiting for it !!!
I had to complete all the ballads!
You should do one with Liebestraum
I play this, and for all its difficult parts, the most pleasing parts to play are the intro motif and when it's re-introduced, 3:46-3:55, and 10:39-11:51. Not sure what Chopin was thinking with the ending; I don't think it exactly fits with the rest of the piece.
well the piece to me is tragic and painful, with some passages near the ending feeling "drunk" with the polyrythms and pulsing in dynamics so the ending is purposefully ugly and disorienting (while still having melodies inside of it).
PLEASE make more of these
Will do :)
comfortable✨
may i ask where u find these paintings at?
I just search for them online, I don't have a specific place I look for them. If you're wondering, the artist's name is in the description :)
For me it was kinda confusing At the beginning because your brain expect the start of the D minor theme in the very middle of the piece lol
Eb minor

@@resonance6531 Thanks for the reply. I sent an email and would appreciate it if you could take a look at it.
Ma non è in Fa minore?
Yes, I used to use the original title so people know the original key. The (Slowed+Reverb) tells them the key has changed.
whos the performer? nice tuning
