Sezane’s materials disappoint me recently for the given price…I am Ok with the inclusion of polyester, recycled fibers etc but not for the price tag it is sold. I am still in love with many pieces but buying less recently, mu budget simply behind the schedule with the speed of new collections come out:)
Love the jumpsuit so much! But dang, it's SO expensive!! The raffia bags are also nice but I personally wouldn't pay that much for them (given they are fragile + special event). I agree with the white wrap top - something looks unusual about the fit under the bust, can't quite put my finger on it...
The wide leg pants make legs look like a solid column.
Superb💋😘😘😘😘👄👄😘😘💋💋💋
I love the Altea blouse with the tiered skirt look!
Hi Mila! Gorgeous video! Oh my goodness, that jumpsuit is amazing on you. Reconsider it! Those bags are so lovely, so boho and carefree, go for the lighter one. xo
Beautiful pieces.
I really love that terracotta Sophie skirt. I looked at the Sophie skirts they have currently but those didn’t catch my eye in terms of colors really. Oh well. Better for my wallet. The flower bags are cute but look so delicate!
❤❤❤ lovely. Thank you
I got the ecru top and returned it. Same as you I thought the fabric wasn’t to my liking. Sezane raffia bags are so expensive but not really substantial or weighty, so I’m keeping away. I’d keep the natural raffia vs the khaki one if you asked me though x
Thank you for the video Mila. The Stella jumpsuit looks stunning: the color is amazing. I really don't have an occasion to wear it, but I have a really long torso and for once this would likely fit me. I have just ordered the Sophie skirt in polka dots and the styling tips are great!
Thank you Mila for another very helpful video! I’m 65 and I adore Sézane clothes and your recommendation about sizing is so helpful( no Sézane store in DMV metro area). Too bad that Aleta blouse is sold out - I hope they restock and wish they make it in light blue color🙂
In case you haven't heard, the DC Sezane popup will be opening soon in Georgetown! I heard May 3rd
@ neeshypoo thank you so much- this makes my day!I have not heard that.
Thanks for the fun video Mila. I agree that the jumpsuit is beautiful but shortening a torse is just not worth the tailoring costs. I'd keep the natural bag...but not sure it is worth that price for something that could ruin easily. I'd be scared to wear it!
Hi Mila, the jumpsuit is lovely, but agree about the tailoring/fit and special occasion feel of it😊. would choose the natural rafia I have the olive Justine bag and find the color less versatile with summer wear ☀️☀️☀️best to you and thanks for the review xo
The jumpsuit looks fabulous, shame it's not for you. I'm not fussed on this collection. My next purchase is going to be a Farrow bag, really excited about it 😊
Mila, you look so wonderful in the jumpsuit that perhaps it’s worth the splurge on alterations. After all, most items you buy from Sezane don’t require much in the way of alterations, so one alteration splurge doesn’t become so important.
Also, the gorgeous bag would be such a joy to own - in either colour. I’m wondering if you did damage a petal if it could be repaired. I think the bag would be cute even without the petals - which is a risky proposition - but is perhaps doable if damage did occur. Do you have a friend who is a sewing expert? They could advise.
I know this is all extra work for you, but you do look great in these items! 😊
Mila Mila I am in love with this video so so so much and you looks too too adorable in Red Dress you are my inspiration and I wish you have a blessed weekend🌹♥️♥️😭🥹💫
I think the green bag would be greater for the color to stand out ❤
You look amazing with the jumpsuit and the olive raffia bag 😍 I really like the olive but the natural one suits my skin tone better so I kept the latter. The bag is smaller than I expected, which is great because I am petite. The size of the bag and the length of the strap are perfect for me! Really LOVE this bag ❤
That jumpsuit looks great on you. The colour really suits you, but I understand what you mean about that extra fabric that would have to be altered. Sometimes it feels like Sézane cuts their clothes for giants.
Thanks again for another helpful video! Love the Altea blouse on you. Can I ask - is this year’s Claire top even shorter than last year’s version? It appears to be…
I love the Altea top! In person, would you say the beige is warm, cool, or neutral?
❤❤❤❤
Think I’d keep the natural. Think it’s more of a decorative bag. A phone purse and lipstick would be the only things to fit. Too expensive. Love the jumpsuit for my fantasy self but not to buy. My thoughts are that the wide bottoms are too too flared. I like a flare but they seem a little over the top especially for a petite. I had the yellow pants shortened and tapered in. But it’s an added expense to already expensive pants. Saying that I still think their quality and style are worth it. I love Sézane ❤
What is the Sophie skirt made of? It looks very wrinkled. Is it made of linen, wrinkles easily and you must use starch or spray sizing to flatten it out? I like the lighter colored bag.
Hi Susan, yes it’s terribly wrinkled. This skirt has been stored for almost a year and despite my attempt to iron it, it still looks wrinkled. I was short in time to film the video, so I wasn’t able to do a better job this time. It’s 100% linen, very thick. Will definitely iron properly when I go out with it. Thank you for sharing the tips 🙏🏼
@@milainnewyork Two things you can do. 1. Lots of cleaners will use industrial machines to iron materials. It might be worth your while to have a cleaner iron it rather than struggling with it yourself. 2. You can use stay sizing to iron it. I think if you just steam it or try to steam iron it, you could still have wrinkles. If it is a material that is resistant to steam ironing, stay sizing almost always works. If it is linen while you are wearing it it will start wrinkling again. Long ago and far away, (like the 1970s) a friend and I used to love linen. Burt every time we wore it, we took the garments to the cleaners for pressing. We constantly complained about it.
Since a couple of weeks, I am not buying from Sezane. The newer collections are aweful. First of all you need to be a max size 36, plus, where are you gone wear this??? I wish, more neutral stuff would come out. Well, good for my creditcard so. But I aprreciate your effort Mila. Tschau Petra
I was SO disappointed about that viscose that "pretends" to be linen! Got the top and the skirt. Looks cheap and dry clean only! My mistake not reading the description but from Sezane I expected it to be 100% linen.
