    Thank you so much! You explained what nobody else would: I.e. the coil curve based on the bypass factor. Everyone else just brushes over this part and then tries to sale you software license subscription.

    there is a mistake while calculating OASH and OALH and fresh air is not considered at load calculation

      I think, everything is okay, until she added 15kW to get GTH. I think GTH SHOULD BE. EQUAL TO 66. Do you agree with me? Or you meant other things?

      The Outside Air Total Heat impoted to the room should have been calculated as: 100/60/0.911*(85-47.5)= 68.6 kW (not 15 kW as presented). Meaning that GTH should be 125.32 kW instead of 71.72 kW. Yet, I appreciated the work. Thanks.

    Please , could you explain a factor 0.02 in formula for outside air total heat OATH= 0.02 x v1 x (h1-h2). Also , is Grand total heat vale on which we have to choose a colling power of the coil?

    if we take Td4 = 10 and Td6 = 8 than also bypass factor is 0.1. so how to insure the values in trial and error method

      Point b is nothing but Alignment circle. Alignment circle is a reference point on the psychometric chart. It lies within Comfort condition. It generally lies within 24° to 26° DBT and 50%-60% Relative Humidity.

      Yes thanks,given instruction says "if two- third of recirculated room air and one- third of fresh air are mixed before entering the cooling coil" so I don't understand how to get point point 3 in order to get DBT3 to be used on trial and error method

    short and properly explained. but calculation of OATH is wrong as you should use VF=100 m3 instead of V1.

    I used to see that, GTH =Total sensible+ Total Latent, What is oath ?? Do we really need that? I just never saw that calculation while finding GTH. Can you explain please?

    Hot water entering a counter flow cooling tower : 1 ib mass/min at 85 f to be cooled to 70 f
    Using 1 ib mass/min of air entering the cooling tower at 78 f and 50% RH
    What is the temperature of the existing air

    Can you explain how you got formula for point three?
    How do we know length of 2-3= length of 2-1 * 1/3 and not length 1-3 = length 2-1 * 1/3

      As in question, it is given that two third of recirculated room air and one third of fresh air are mixed so it means...
      Line 1-2 needs to be divided into three parts...now how we will get the location of point 3...
      So...as two third of recirculated room air is given...it means concentration of recirculated room air is more...
      So the point 3 should be near to point 2.
      If we want to change the formula in terms of length...
      It will be like...
      Length 1-3 = length 2-1 * 2/3

      B'cos 40-26=14 & 14/3 =4.6
      So 26+4.6=30.6 =30

      You have to assume the approximate values of td4 and td6 in such a way that...you are getting the RHS as 0.1.
      The value of td6 should be less than td5 (td5 is nearly 12.7 degree from psychrometric chart) and value of td4 should be more than td5.
      And the difference between td4 and td6 should be approximately 1.5 degrees.
