One thing I wanted to clarify, in 2006 the place Roblox got the sound pack from was a piracy website, they did not buy it. The internet was a lot different in 2006 and that site was either shutdown a week later or it was the piratebay. Most likely someone at Roblox got this sound and didn't tell how they got it, because of Roblox being new they probably didn't care and just was in a rush to push the game out.

In the audio section of creator marketplace, they replaced every single audio file with the sound waves that make the old oof sound, with the "baby farting" oof sound
Removing the oof sound is like:
1. Removing creepers from minecraft.
2. Removing pan from Pubg.
3. Removing default dance and building from Fortnite.
4. Removing tears from The Binding of Isaac.
5. Removing gyms from Pokemon (oh... wait...)
6. Removing "Objection!" from Ace Attorney.
7. Removing jumping from Geometry Dash.
8. Removing Eye Of Chtulhu from Terraria.
9. Removing Wilson from Don't Starve.
10. Removing Birds from Angry Birds.
11. Removing Heavy from TF 2.
12. Removing guns from CS:GO.
Honestly, I think the custom death sound being an avatar thing doesn’t sound all that bad… so long as there are some decent free ones

I can't tell you how many sounds I hear that came from somewhere else from very different time periods.
To be honest, a MarketPlace is the best idea. Why?Because there’s going to be a place where you can pick your own Death sound and you can buy some for robux! Plus we all know so many people are angry about the oof sound incidents and players would be excited to have a place to pick they’re own death sound.

Yes i realized that the oof sound has been removed its now that weird sound. Also if you press the escape button in any Roblox game and go to settings and click on one of the blue blocks it used to be the oof sound and now its the weird death sound origin. This was revealed like 2 or 3 years ago and it was almost deleted, but wasn’t, now it’s deleted.

I'm heartbroken tbh, I loved the oof sound. I remember playing Roblox for the first time and hearing the oof sound. But, it's not really Roblox's fault since it was for copyright reasons.

It does sound like a cool idea to be able to buy and create your own sounds when you die, however there are some downsides such as people making it extremely loud and spamming the "Reset" button or uploading an inappropriate sound.

They go ahead and add a sound marketplace meanwhile they have a faulty moderation system, nobody needs a sound marketplace.
It's probably going to be only sounds roblox uploads. I doubt they'd make it available for the public.

solution: for the game that anyone makes just replace make your own sound free asset (i think that's how it works) and make that sound play every time the player dies.

This is the very first Kreekcraft video I watched lol-I mean OOF.
Either way, if they remove it or not, I'm still changing the audio. Even if they keep changing the file, I'll rewrite the code, so it loads in the old oof sound instead of the new oof sound. I might make adjustments to the code aswell so the sound randomizes each time.
